The film is based on the life of this legendary figure.
Manfred ( Matthias Schweighöfer Matthias Schweighöfer Matthias Schweighöfer) was born in a prestigious family and has longed for flying since he was a child. After becoming The Federal Republic of Germany, Die Bundesrepublik Deutschland Pilot, he earned the respect of others, including the enemy Pilots he shot down, for his superb skills and unique fighting style. In a battle, Manfred shot down the British ace Pilot Brown. When Manfred confirmed the victory, he found that Brown was only injured and rescued him. In the process, he met a beautiful nurse ( Lena Headey Lena Headey) and fell in love with her at first sight.
In 1917, Manfred became the first ace Pilot of The Federal Republic of Germany, Die Bundesrepublik Deutschland, and received the highest medal awarded by König himself. Later, he painted his Fighter into a conspicuous red, and led the 11th Squadron, invincible in the 3000-meter altitude, hence the name "The Red Baron". In a subsequent fight, he was shot in the head. Before long, the upper ranks of the German army deliberately protected him because of the publicity value of "The Red Baron", persuading him to withdraw from the front line and stop flying. Manfred, who loves flying, does not obey orders and insists on fighting. Finally, he ushered in the last attack in his flying career...

      Watch "The Red Baron"

The Red Baron: Fred von Richthofen, the legendary pilot of the First World War,
which includes the reader's radical classmate (as Richthofen's brother) and Ralph Fiennes' brother Joseph Fiennes (as the Canadian pilot). In the film, von Richterhofen is interpreted as a tall, handsome, chivalrous and benevolent hero, while his younger brother is a militaristic radical. This is the exact opposite of reality. The real von Richterhofen loves killing and killing animals, while his younger...

Not just an aerial combat movie, it's one of the best WWI movies

Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen (Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen, 1892.5.2—1918.4.21). The greatest German pilot of World War I. He shot down 80 enemy planes in his lifetime. In the era of classical air combat, the gentleman's way of fighting was maintained: shoot down enemy planes without shooting enemy pilots. In the film, the protagonist expresses this spirit with lines like "We are sportsmen, not butchers!" The 11th Prussian Hunting Brigade led by Richthofen brought...

      Know what a nobility is.

Regardless of the plot, depth, production, etc. of the film, just the strong classical
atmosphere permeating the whole film and the aristocratic temperament of the protagonist made the film shine in front of my eyes.
There are no ups and downs in the plot, and the narrative is straightforward, but the characters' characters respond just right in the cold plot. This is a movie that can make a hot-blooded man cry.
To this day, the film's perfect soundtrack still reverberates...

      fly away

I stayed in Xining for a week, nothing happened at night, and suddenly wanted to watch some movies. The 1st Army said that the movie Red Baron is highly recommended by Yunzhong, so I decided to watch it.
After the movie was finished, when I watched it for the first time, I saw the last battle of the Red Baron saying goodbye to his girlfriend. When I was about to board and take off, I couldn't bear to watch it any longer. I pressed the pause button and chatted with the 1st Army in the...

      air knight

The pilots in the First World War can be called the bravest fighters, because the reliability of the aircraft at that time was relatively low, and the failure rate was very high. Even if they were not hit, the risk of crashing always existed. Because the weapon system is simple, the general distance of air combat is within 100 meters, and they often fight at close range, which is very dangerous, and there are no life-saving measures, so they can only rely on emergency landing. There have been...

The subtitles are three sentences out of one... I am quite speechless. The dubbing is still in German, which obviously doesn't match the mouth shape of the actors... Boy's feet are so...

The male protagonists are a little immature and young; the war scenes are not enough, and they focus on preaching; our red baron did not die as a virgin! ! ! !...

    Movie quotes

    • Voss: Your nurse is a very good looking girl.

Manfred von Richthofen: I've got a hole in my head, but I'm not blind.

    • Käte: Dance with me.

Manfred von Richthofen: No. Better not... No. I am an infernally miserable dancer.

      Käte: Imagined you're flying...

    • Käte: There are so many hospitals now they have to give them numbers. This is No: 76. There's 500 patients. Most of these men will die. Those that don't will never walk again, see again, taste again... love again! No, it's not great to have a hole your head. You're lucky to be still alive. Being born of nobility, you've advantages these men here do not. They don't have choices. It's not a game. This is the lowest we'll ever get. It never gets darker.
