      pillow book

I think the film "Pillow Book" is really difficult to understand.

I think that woman a thousand years ago was as oppressed as Nuozi a thousand years later. In the beginning, when Nuozi was a child, she was her father's script, and her father was the lover of a bookseller. After Noko got married, her husband made fun of her favorite literature and quarreled with her, and she set fire to the house and left Japan in a fit of rage. Then she became the written script of many...

      unexpected

Disappointment is entirely a Western director's impression and curiosity about the East. Although the first time I heard about this movie, I felt that it should not be as exciting as I imagined. Library is RESTRICTED, but it doesn't make sense.

But I want to say that the wonderful thing is that the visual effect of writing on the body is still very good.
Then there is the repeated phrase "When God first made a man out of clay, he would paint eyes, lips, sexual...

The master of formalism expresses in detail

Hao Hao yelled at me to express in his sophomore life.

I can read you like a book

      "Noble and elegant things:
      lilac underwear, white pullovers folded.
In brand new metal bowls, lotus root tea is sprinkled with ice foam.
      Snow falls on plum blossoms.
Adorable children are eating grass plums.
      Bird's eggs Cracked mouth.
      Crystal beads."

Peter Greenaway's films are always bizarre, but very little remembered after watching them. I have only seen the movie "Forbidden Books by the Pillow" once, but I have no intention of watching it a...

      just beautiful

What I like is the mood of the film's scene, color, and music combination. In Japan, Qingshao Nayan dressed in traditional kimono, the background music is like a piece of "Pillow Grass", the elegant Japanese classical court, and the lover who is dressed in sakura in the sky leisurely arrives. In the modern city, there are simple and simple living rooms, the clearness and stretching of Chinese calligraphy, and the little halos floating on the walls.
          Jumping between tradition and...

Unbearable, it is a blasphemy to calligraphy! The props are not good, and the picture-in-picture structure seriously destroys the beauty! Greenaway didn't even understand Japanese culture and got on with...

Symbols of homosexuality, heterosexuality, love triangle, all kinds of mess. Close-up, medium shot~ In the rhythm of the stuffy to death, you are confused and hesitant to see the end, you sleep twice and leave once, you can't understand anything except the formalism and abstract beauty! Great~~ PS: Weng Qianyu, Xu Xingquan, Yoshida...

#Watching Notes# 1373 The 2.5 characters are so ugly that they ruined the good paper of Ivan. But I guess he doesn't care, this time it's cool~. The set is typical of the East in the eyes of the West. The more you show your organs, the less erotic it is, but maybe this is a very feminine...

    Evaluation action

"The Pillow Book" takes a Japanese female calligrapher Kazuko who writes on the human body as the main character, showing the oriental taste represented by the beauty of calligraphy, as well as the oppression and resistance of the Eastern style. The plot development in the film is almost all related to Oriental calligraphy and "Pillow Grass". Director Peter Greenaway borrowed various forms and sentimental sentiments from "Pillow Grass"...

    Movie quotes

    • Nagiko: Farewells can be both beautiful and despicable. Saying farewell to one who is loved is very complicated. Why should a person be obligated to stand such sweet pain and such bitter pleasure?

    • Nagiko: You've been reading my diary?

The Husband: Isn't that why people keep diaries? To be read by someone else? Otherwise why keep them?

      Nagiko: To know about themselves.

    • Nagiko: Nipples like bone buttons. An instep like a half open book. A navel like the inside of a shell. A belly like an upturned saucer. A penis like a sea slug or a pickled cucumber.
