I've watched this set for a hundred years

Watching this 1932 horror film now feels a little boring, but when you think about it, all these elements of the genre don't seem to have changed much in over seventy years. This short 62-minute movie, if supported by today's special effects, CG, and dew point scenes, should also be a horror blockbuster of more than 120 minutes. In this case, it should be that today we watch these movies even more nutritious. It has been almost a hundred years, but at most, we have come up with some Donkey Kong...

      Horrible waste of time

Amateurish film even for is day. Everything is bad: caddish hero, shop-girl-like heroine, stupid plot, shoddy make-believe set (broad river with a great cascade, in a tiny, flat island?!), and absurdly implausible lighting that doesn't even get one frame right.

I value historical interest as much as the next person, and I have enough piety on reserve for the occasion, but I fail to see any historical significance here at all. I can't believe this movie was made in the same year in...

3.5 An hour-long horror movie about hunters and prey is obviously still too short, with a running account-like plot. Considering it's a 32-year-old movie, it's not too...

This film later inspired the famous Zodiac Killer in American history. The "most dangerous game" he mentioned in his letters to newspapers and police departments was the killing game in this horror film. In the early days, it was a very standard and highly industrial commercial type film. Now watching this film, the idea of the hunting game is still very good. If you repackage it now, it will not be out of date. ....

    Background creation

The original book is that a famous hunter from New York Sanger Rainsford took a boat to South Africa to an island called ''ship trap'', which means ship's trap. Rainsford is a very good hunter. In his eyes, prey is thoughtless and painless. There is a sentence in the text that he said to a friend: ''There are only two kinds of creatures in this world, hunters and preys. Fortunately, you and I are both hunters. ''When the boat was in...
