The title of the film the good shepherd is much more reliable than the name "Spy". At least not like a commercial action movie, more like a documentary.
The plot is clear and the characters deep.
This is how cia was established, not the scheming of the 007 movies. Just like all careers, little by little, I sacrificed time, love, family, marriage, affection, the whole life, to build.
Matt Damon's diligent, calm, and particularly silent role is really not easy. To play a...

The film is very long, more than 2 hours
, the film is very dull, and it is basically fragmented and detailed.
There is no thrilling plot conflict.
Matt Damon is always the expressionless Poker face
. Angelina Jolie is basically a vase character, In addition to showing her beauty and figure,
it is a foil, but she was originally a supporting role.
The old man inside I always felt like the headmaster of Harry Potter, but wasn't the headmaster dead?...

No flashy effects, no bloody violence
There is no gorgeous effect, no bloody and violent scenes, but there is a feeling that makes you shudder. There is a sentence in it that I am the most profound, that is, "there is no one you can trust, if there is one, it will be your happiness" . And the ambition of the United States to dominate the world is also shown at the end of the film, "Why is it called the CIA, not the CIA, because there is only one God, and there is only one CIA."
It is not people, but language, that both true...

Tired, more tired than Edward Wilson. I really shouldn't be watching this movie that gives me more headaches when I have a headache. Can't say it's good or bad because I don't understand it at all. My historical distaste for politics makes me scratch my head whenever I see a movie on this subject.
Whether Edward's life is a success or a failure, maybe he is a success for the entire United States, but for his family. The wedding received a dispatch order, and it has been six years since...

Research on the character Ibanez in the film
There is a plot in Good Shepherd where Edward's colleagues interfere in the internal affairs of a South American country and send planes to drop locusts. Edward recognized his old rival in Berlin from the documentary that was broadcast. The person speaking in the documentary is called Ibanez.
Regarding Ibanez's resume, the Internet says this:
Uruguayan President
Jorge Luis Batlle Ibanez was born on October 25, 1927 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Doctor of Laws, Faculty of Law...

The consistent style of political movies is boring and long. The viewing process of nearly three hours is a torment. I believe that not many people can understand the complex character relationships and jumping storylines in the movie after watching it. Go on, or for the three actors you...
Edward Wilson: [to the First Mirinov after he played the violin] I just wanted to hear something from you that was true.
Ray Brocco: You failed the polygraph, Mr. Mirinov.
Valentin Mironov #1: You know every Russian fails polygraph. Your polygraph doesn't understand the Russian soul.
Bill Sullivan: I have to tell you, I have some real problems with this whole thing, despite how much we need it. I'm concerned that too much power will end up in the hands of too few. It's always in somebody's best interest to promote enemies; real or imagined. I see this

Bill Sullivan: as America's eyes and ears. I don't want it to becomes it's heart and soul.
