      I watch the exorcist

A very classic story, with an irresistible mystery.
I was struck by the unique style of the exorcist, it was not like a midnight bell, nor a grudge. It creates an atmosphere, a world for us in a unique way, and allows the created atmosphere to permeate the entire world that was also created. The atmosphere made me depress, not fear, and I think the depressive atmosphere created by this classic film is far superior to pure fear.
Of course, this may not be suitable for some...

      Please advise

      Introduction:

It tells the story of 12-year-old Regan McNeil (Linda Blair), who is possessed by demons, her mother Chris McNeil (Ellen Burstein), father Callas (Jay Sen Miller) and the conjuring priest Merlin (Max von Sydow) in their tireless struggle with the devil to save the little girl's soul.

Callas (Jason Miller) isn't Reagan McNeil's father, he
      's a priest and psychiatrist

; Then I don't know what the devil's purpose is, to torture a 12-year-old girl?...

      let god fxxk...

      Finished finished finished finished.
How many times are mentioned horror movies.
I always feel that the music of eels can improve the horror effect to some extent.

This is a horror movie for Western audiences or Christian audiences.

About the teachings of Christianity, etc., I only have a general understanding. I think everyone was shocked when they saw the passage of let god fxxk you.... I don't know what it means to people in Christian countries....

Low-level devil, not scary at all

These days, the devil is getting more and more useless, to the extent that he only knows how to bully little girls.
And the taste is low, either spewing green filth at the mouth, or full of foul language. But the part where you keep poking yourself with the cross and saying "jesus fuck you" is a bit creative.
The exorcist is also very bad. He only knows how to read the Bible and sprinkle holy water, but unfortunately it doesn't work, and he himself was killed. The other had to die...

      vivid memory

Many years later, I learned that when I was a little girl, I watched the famous "The Exorcist" in the middle of the winter by myself.
At the age of eleven or twelve, I probably won't have a complete memory of the plot of the whole film, but Climbing down the stairs upside down, head spinning 360 degrees, gross voices, disgusting mucus, horrific self-mutilation, and the line: I know what you've done~ (it seems to mean this in memory) and the priest The scene of the final exorcism, even...

The filming is not bad. In which era it is good to be able to shoot like this. However, it has been turned over and over again by the films of this era. I don’t know how many times I have copied it....

One of the most classic horror films of all time, it doesn't seem so scary now. BTW. So far, my favorite horror movie is still The Shining....

Fifty years ago, a horror movie could be made like this, but I was a little girl who was fast-forwarding and was tortured with a human-shaped head that was three hundred and sixty degrees and still alive? The Oscar for the best adapted screenplay and the best sound effect is said to provide a learning reference for the lighting and plot laying of later horror...

    Behind the scenes gags

When it was screened in 1973, the film made many audiences scream, dizzy, and even hysterical, so that nursing staff were called on by the theater to be on standby at any time, becoming one of the most controversial films in film history at that time.
At the beginning of the film’s release, many local governments in the UK banned the film from being shown. This made some strange "exorcist bus trips" appear at that time. The travel...

    • Father Karras: There isn't a day in my life when I haven't felt like a fraud. I mean priests, doctors, I've talked to them all. I don't know anyone who hasn't felt that.

    • Chris MacNeil: Would you like some brandy in that, father?

Father Merrin: Well, my doctor says I shouldn't, but thank God my will is weak.
