The day after tomorrow? Quotes? Humans have survived the last ice age, and of course we are capable of surviving this one. It all depends on whether we can learn from our mistakes. "What can we do?" "Do your best to save as many people as you can." What I care about and work for is a future that no longer exists. Excerpt from the film review? Hugo once said that "nature is a kind mother and a cruel butcher", and the film's use of the name "The Day After Tomorrow" is to warn us that maybe you...

The day after tomorrow cannot destroy mankind
The president does not think that the climate will destroy the earth. He threatened that the economy is as fragile as the ecology, but he cannot see that people's livelihood is difficult, disasters are raging, and there is no space for human beings to survive, how can we create wealth? The earth is always above human beings, but some people forget that they are the guests who live on the earth. They think they are the masters of the world, and they never want to be dominated by the world....

Don't want our life to become "the day after tomorrow"
Compared to zombie movies, I think natural disaster movies scares me more. This winter, it seems to be even colder due to the La Niña phenomenon. I saw this film from a video author, and I had heard of it before, so I found it and watched it. In my impression, disaster films first reflect the disaster the film itself wants to describe, and second, reflect the different human natures revealed in extreme situations. What impressed me the most was the homeless man with the dog who stood outside...

[they're snowed in at Scotland]
Terry Rapson: We've got our own genny, enough tea and biscuits to sink a ship. We'll be fine! As long as the loo doesn't back up again.
Elsa: What've you got there?
Jeremy: The Gutenberg Bible. It was in the Rare Books Room.
Elsa: Think God's gonna save you?
Jeremy: No. I don't believe in God.
Elsa: You're holding on to that Bible pretty tight.
Jeremy: I'm protecting it.
[pause as Elsa glances at J.D. throwing books on the fire]
Jeremy: This Bible... is the first book ever printed. It represents... the dawn of the Age of Reason. As far as I'm concerned, the written word is mankind's greatest achievement.
[Elsa gives a light snort]
Jeremy: You can laugh... but if Western civilization is finished... I'm gonna' save at least one little piece of it.
Terry Rapson: [over the phone] Several hours ago, three helicopters went down over Scotland. They crashed because the fuel in their lines froze.
Jack Hall: At what temperature does...
Terry Rapson: [interrupting] -150 degrees Fahrenheit.
[scoffs]
Terry Rapson: They had to look it up!
