Amway's "Beach" Little Plum from 2000!
Contents: A paradise built the day after tomorrow, and finally collapsed.
This means that a handed down, tribal paradise may exist! The Taoyuan established by modern civilized people does not exist. The real possible existence may be in the future when material civilization is highly developed.
Common point: the spiritual pursuit of modern civilized people is very close to the appearance of the tribe! This is the starting point of yearning....

The Beach came out in 2000. At the beginning of 2008, I was planning to go to Phi Phi Island, the location of the film, and then I remembered to check out this old work by Leonardo.
He plays Richard, a young American backpacker who comes to Thailand in search of a truly different kind of travel, preferably with a touch of adventure. While staying in Bangkok, Daffy, a mad neighbor, committed suicide, leaving behind a map leading to the paradise he had mentioned—a beach with white...

I heard alot of negative thoughts on this movie, some say it's boring. I dont get how the plot is boring, when things r happening all the time and it's not a slow movie.
Some say it's a bad movie, my very own opinion i think ALOT OF people dont like, not interested becuase you do not know what it is ABOUT. or in a mean sense, mayb ur one of 'them', by meaning them i wont go that far, when ur in the group u cannot see the picture, just like wht he said. ...but then he became the naive...

It's a movie from 2000, I just know it now, I just finished watching it. Unfinished. In thought...
Maybe I am also one of the "Xanadu" elements. The pursuit of ideals, at least in the mind, of imaginary ideals is life, and thus makes it one of the main sources of spiritual tranquility.
From a psychological point of view, the Xanadu in the film is not a pure Xanadu. It feels more like a "meeting place for the rabble" - no, it really isn't, and it has a lot of beauty too. Everyone...

The DVD was bought in my senior year of high school and I have been working for two years now.
I regret not watching it at the time. If I had seen it at the time, I believe I would have been yearning for it.
Now I just see some overly pompous performances, slightly crude photography and a bunch of spoiled western kids who don't even know what they're doing.
The group of people on the beach are no different from ordinary tourists on vacation. If they leave civilized society, they...

When watching this movie, I missed Ewan McGregor madly. I felt that Leonardo was awkward to read a large narration and lacked a little...
Daffy: Pay them in dollars and fuck their daughters.
Richard: You hope, and you dream. But you never believe that something's gonna happen for you. Not like it does in the movies. And when it actually does, you want it to feel different, more visceral, more real. I was waiting for it to hit me, but it just wouldn't happen. The police were pissed cuz he was traveling under a false passport. But they didn't ask me about the map, so - I didn't tell 'em.
Etienne: Oh fuck! Richard! Fuck!
Richard: What?
Etienne: I saw a fin!
Richard: What? Are you joking?
Etienne: No, no. A fin!
Richard: OK, a shark fin?
Etienne: I don't know! Just a fin! Over there, about a hundred meters.
Richard: Well, was it big?
Etienne: Yes.
Richard: Well, what the fuck do you expect me to do about it?
Etienne: Nothing! I just thought you should know!
Richard: Well, to be honest, Etienne, I'd rather you hadn't told me!
Etienne: I'm sorry!
Richard: Well, it's a bit fuckin' late now, isn't it?
