      Some things make us smile

Because the protagonist in the play is also the editor. So what I saw was not plot, love, or growth. But the little details.
Brett Eisenberg, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kidilin Stern Press; Archie Knox, Chief Editor of Staralon Press. Then, the two fell in love. They started the conversation with "The Sun Also Rises", discussing the anecdote of whether the two old editors (authors?) were dueling with "Les Miserables" or "Brothers Karamazov". Man Mailer", in order to verify who was right...

      Worship is not love~

I like Sarah's clothes inside, very elegant, very intellectual, and very cute. I must admit that at the beginning of the film, I was a little bit resisted, thinking it was another cliché movie that flew on a branch and turned into a phoenix. But after enduring the 80-minute disgust of the elderly Alek’s pear blossoms pressed against the begonias, I have to admit that the ending of the film brought me joy.
Yes, we have all loved old men, or, we have all loved those who are beyond our reach....

Girl, take your time, so do boys...

In 2004, "The Shortcut to Happiness" used fairy tales, realism, magic and other techniques to tell the audience a story of happiness without shortcuts, especially for a "pre-literary youth" like me, the down-and-out writer Alec Baldwin for The so-called success and happiness, the miserable experience of pledging the soul to the devil, and the appearance of Anthony Hopkins, are even more personal and educational. The film solemnly warns us that not only "impulse is the devil", sometimes...

You know i can handle this

Before his death, my father told his brother that he believed that girls could handle this matter well.

We are all like this. Only by no longer relying on it can we learn to grow up.
Dependence, that person used to be the father who helped you grow up and gave you advice from time to time. Later, he became a lover with broad shoulders who dealt with work problems for himself.

He naturally said that I am younger...

    • Nurse: Just a minute miss, sorry to bug you. But your father hasn't filled out his dinner menu yet. Would you mind?

Brett Eisenberg: He's not my father.

      Nurse: Excuse me?

Brett Eisenberg: I said he's not my father. He's my boyfriend. I have sex with him!

Nurse: Either way he eats, right?

[Brett walks into the hospital room, pulls back the curtain, and we see Archie in bed]

Archie Knox: [using a high pitch, mimicking voice] He's my boyfriend. I have sex with him!

    • Archie Knox: Congratulations are in order if you're breaking bread with Brett. Looks like you're planning to sign with Gitlin and Stern?

Cas Coyote: Well, we haven't actually settled on anything yet.

Archie Knox: Well, you better hurry. You have before you the savviest editrix in this town. I've tried to hire her myself for the last couple of years, and she turned me down. You know why? She say's I'm a letch.

      [both laugh]

Cas Coyote: Archie, you are a letch.

    • Archie Knox: [sitting with Brett's family after meeting them for the first time] Well, I do appreciate the attempt you've all made at avoiding the obvious. It was a worthy effort. But let's cut to the chase, shall we. Robert, how old are you?

      Robert Eisenberg: 57.

Archie Knox: And I'm 50. So, that makes me younger than Robert. So everybody feeling good about that right now?

Ethan Eisenberg: I am very relieved. How old were you when Brett was in third grade?

      Brett Eisenberg: Grow up Ethan.

Ethan Eisenberg: Brett skipped the third grade.

Ethan Eisenberg: [imitates a buzzer] Well played.
