      Wander between humor and suspense

Although this is a typical Hitchcock-esque suspense film, Hitchcock wields his sense of humor in this film, and while his other films have his unique sense of humor on display, never This time it's so vivid, (even his "routine appearance" is full of joy.) Hitchcock is so free on the tightrope of humor and suspense, which fully shows his superb directing skills.
This time our heroine, Eve, is in a dangerous situation like many of the Hitchcock films, but please note that this time,...

      love Hitchcock

One of the classic films of Hitchcock, the master of suspense. Released in the UK in 1950. A criminal mind film, with black and white suspense throughout. The plot is tight and no snooze is allowed. All kinds of curiosity, love, sense of justice, fear, and evil thoughts are intertwined, which is very enjoyable! Starring Jane Wyman, the Oscar-winning actress and the ex-wife of former US President Ronald Reagan. I wiped, and was also the mother of the country [ wipe sweat ] (winner in life)...

Although similar passages were used a lot by Wang Jing later, Jane Wyman shuttled between different characters in different identities, and the seemingly chaotic but methodical section was still very...

Women, you probably don't even know what your heart thinks. Just like Jane Wyman of Xiaojiabiyu, and Marlene Dietrich like a queen. (The humor in the playground is a classic, and the final reversal was...

It is humorous and beautiful. In front of Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman, who had won the Oscar, was like a hurried...

Hitchcock's ultimate sarcasm about love. Alias: People in love have no IQ. Dietrich's legs were amazing as soon as they came on stage, especially with a blood-stained skirt on her legs. Doesn't it entice you to watch it? For the first half hour, I cried out in my heart that the male lead is so stupid, the female lead is so stupid, the police are so stupid, and the people in love are so stupid (actually, there is a reversal! I love watching Huanxi Enemies solve the case together, and only a beam...

    Movie plot

Popular stage actress Charlotte (Marlene Dietrich) hurriedly knocked on the door of her lover Jonathan (Richard Todd) this morning, telling her in a panic that she had just killed her husband. Charlotte was even more nervous because she was about to go to the theater and was wearing a dress with a large bloodstain on her body. Jonathan comforted Charlotte, came to her house to help her get other clothes, and faked the scene when he was...

    Evaluation action

The master used our audience's trust in the image/character/plot/director to tell us a "true lie" in the first ten minutes. We have no reason not to believe that a male protagonist (he is the male protagonist in the first ten minutes) tells a story to a female protagonist, we identify the beginning - the real beginning, and we also identify the love between the two protagonists , you can even imagine a happy ending: Eve helps Jonathan...

    Movie quotes

    • Jonathan Cooper: Eve, do you hate me? Now that you know about Charlotte and me?

Eve Gill: Why, I could never hate you Jonathan; because, we're - we're such old friends. And - well, just because. But, I do wish I'd taken lessons on the second fiddle.

    • Commodore Gill: The best thing you can do, my girl, is go back to the Academy; practice your soul-shaking antics in surroundings where they can't do any harm.

    • Det. Insp. Wilfred 'Ordinary' Smith: Perhaps you're allergic to bars. Look, would you feel less uneasy if I sat with you? Or, more uneasy? Perhaps you're allergic to strange men too.

Charlotte Inwood: No, I love strange men! I mean, I'm very fond of them.
