For someone who writes short reviews and rarely does movie reviews, it's not how much this movie made me feel, but how I haven't seen myself in a long time, certainly not in the mirror.
At first, I guessed the protagonist wrong. Looking at the chatterbox who dragged the stool for half a minute, I thought the protagonist was him. Seeing the little boy carrying four bags of clothes by himself, he went to help him. This is normal for a person who has just been discharged...

I think the role of a good movie is to think rather than to vent the emotions in the heart.
Many people applauded Carl for killing Dory. If it's just that, this movie is telling people "just kill the person you are dissatisfied with." These clapping people forget that "violence will never solve the problem" Violence will only pay more.
Originally, Carl could live happily with his friends outside, but with limited wisdom, he could only solve problems simply and rudely. Dare...

This film is Billy Bob Thornton's self-directed and self-directed debut, and it was a blockbuster at the Oscars that year. The handling of colors and shots in the whole film is quite wonderful, and the script is even more impeccable. It can be seen that the story of this film benefits from the director's years of personal precipitation and accumulation. Billy's Karl is impressive. If everyone has a character in their hearts that they most want to shape and express, then Karl is a part of...

This is a simple film. It is simple in thought. It's not easy.
I saw two sentences in the whole film:
1 I think any bad things should not happen to children, and those bad things should be left to adults to solve.
2
you will be happy (you will be happy)
I think that's what this movie conveys.
Everyone has various childhoods, joys or pains. All are different.
Carl's childhood experiences kept him in rehab for more than two decades. He reads...

I have always liked works with this theme. When such people return to society, will their past really be the past? The previous "Boy A" that I gave full marks had a tragic ending, while "Switchblade" had a more open ending.
"Switchblade" raises a satirical topic full of paradoxical meanings: Since the Bible says that murderers go to hell, does a vulnerable group like Carl go to hell after murder, as the Bible says? This seems to be a question with an obvious answer, but it actually...

7.5/10 A story with a prewritten ending, but still tense and heartwarming; one of the very few Thornton films to like in particular. The music is great; whether it's the intense drum beats of a childhood narration in dim candlelight at the beginning or a well-placed climactic accompaniment towards the end, it fits the plot...

There is no suspense, the characters are well created, and there is actually a cameo of Jiamusu, which reminds me that there is still a full set of his DVDs that I haven't watched...
Frank: Ever think of killing yourself on purpose like my daddy done?
Karl: I studied about it. The Bible says you ought not to. It says if you do that, you go off to Hades. Some folks call it Hell, I call it Hades.
Doyle: [to Vaughan and Karl] Hey! I said get out of my house! That goes for cocksuckers and retards! Now get up off your asses'n go! Go on!
Linda: This is not your house, Doyle. This is my house and I decide who goes and who stays. You got a house, why don't you get some of your girlfriends and go home to it?
Doyle: You know better than to talk to me like that when I'm hurtin', Linda. Don't make me knock the piss outta you.
Vaughan Cunningham: Don't you touch her.
Doyle: That's funny, Vaughan. Linda, go to bed and take little snot-nose here with you.
Linda: You're not staying here tonight. Go get sober before you come back, I'm tired of my child seeing this. Now you get your ass straight or I'll lock your ass out of my life for good.
Doyle: If you even think about leaving me, Linda, I told you: I'm gonna kill you deader than a door nail.
Linda: That might be better than this.
Vaughan Cunningham: All right, I'm a witness. I heard you threatening her.
Doyle: Hey, you get the
[shouts]
Doyle: fuck out now!
Karl: Reckon you make me some biscuits.
