Cinderella's Love Gloves - shopgirl
This movie, which has a 6.9 rating on IMDB, doesn't really feel anything special to me, and some parts of the plot even make me fall asleep. I probably looked at the profile and the comments, and always felt that there was nothing special about it.
There is a sentence in a certain issue of "Watching Movies", saying that some movies are used for hypnosis. He was noncommittal, and the movie he introduced at the time was "The New Pride and Prejudice", which must be better than this...

In a very impetuous afternoon, I chose this movie when I was irritable because of some people and things. It can be said that this movie wrote about the lost and weak and ignorant of women in this era, not knowing what they really want. , Vanity wants to have but in the end fails, but fortunately finally finds self, realizes self-worth, has a successful career, and no longer gets lost among boys, but chooses the right, not painful love, this is a new era A portrayal of a woman, how to know how...

spent half a day watching "shopgirl"
starring Dennis Claire, the Chinese translation of "Cinderella's Love Gloves", a very inappropriate translation name
x luxury brand shopping guide lady, An older woman who had not lived in love for a long time suddenly met two men.
Two men so different.
Rich, elegant, romantic he and daring, edgy (permit me to say so), nothing.
Which one would you choose?

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it
Steve Martin as Ray
Claire Danes as Mirabelle
Jason Schwartzman as Jeremy
Someone called this a comedy? I don't think so, it's such a sad story, that sad eye look from Danes, I also would like to agree with this: a funny & sad look relationship.
Comrade Martin is so serious when he's not funny. For some reason, the usual humorous comedians are serious, which makes me feel so desperate about life, such as: Zhou Xingxing, Jim Carrey, and Steve Martin...
As...

It is a love story of an ordinary woman. It is bland but there are countless secrets, just like life itself.
What impressed me most was that Mirabell was still so gentle and personable in the last encounter between Mirabell and Ray, while she was more vibrant, beautiful and confident. They have their own he (she) beside them. Ray finally said to her, then I really love you. They stared deeply, hugged tightly, and finally smiled goodbye. Mirabell's last look back made Lei feel lost. She...

One woman, Mirabell, and two men, Ray and Jeremy. Jeremy's love for Mirabell is more tender, warmer, more equal and more real. That's why she chose the latter. On the contrary, Ray, who can be a father, has always kept a distance in love with Mirabell. How can he not continue to love her after she leaves...

Ray Porter: Mirabelle Buttersfield moved from Vermont hoping to begin her life. And now she is stranded in the vast openness of LA. She keeps working to make connections, but the pile of near misses is starting to overwhelm her. What Mirabelle needs is an omniscient voice to illuminate and spotlight her and to inform everyone that this one has value, this one standing behind the counter in the glove department and to find her counterpart and bring him to her.
Jeremy Kraft: Amplifiers are so under-appreciated.
Mirabelle: What?
Jeremy Kraft: They could be so cool looking and nobody cares about design, you know. It pisses me off! Mac designs a cool computer, EVERYBODY goes out and they buy it! And... a band! A rock n' roll band... lives or dies by their amplifiers... and they're sold... like fridgerators. Hell, it's that ridiculous, come on! The amp should have mystique! I mean, yeah. I mean, an amp should be sold like cool things! You know, like cars! Like swords! Not like appliances. And that is why my, that is why my boss' business is going under. Because... he, he'd use it all as merch.
Jeremy Kraft: That's merchandise.
Voice-over: Some nights alone he thinks of her, and some nights alone she thinks of him. Some nights these thoughts occur at the same moment and Ray and Mirabelle are connected without ever knowing it.
