      A very disappointing video!

I got off the BBC's "Sense and Sensibility" from the donkey two days ago, and was extremely disappointed :(
I have read the original book before, and I have also watched Ang Lee's S&S. Basically, Ang Lee's S&S is very loyal to the original, with many details It's also very well grasped, and the choice of actors is not bad. I can't say it's the best, but at least it's not offensive. Overall, it still shows the essence of this novel.
Compared with the BBC's S&S, I can't help but say...

good thing there is a movie

Quickly read Jane Austen's more influential novels, including "Pride and Prejudice", "Sense and Sensibility", "Persuasion", "Northanger Abbey" and "Mansfield Park" and "Being Jane Austen" Sting, etc. "Pride and Prejudice" is mainly about the story from misunderstanding to true love between Elizabeth and Darcy; "Reason" tells the different ways of dealing with love between Marianne and Alita; "Persuasion" tells the story of Anne's relationship with the one she met eight years ago. The story of...

Whether rational or emotional, a happy ending is king?

Eleanor: Rational, immersed in emotions, waiting for a rupture to vent. This kind of woman is very malleable, it can be the strong support behind a great man, or it can be a peasant woman beside a short-minded man. After reading all of them, I feel that she is like a Gemini, sullen, maybe too calm character is not necessarily a Gemini, but I just feel it.

Marianne: Romantic supremacy. At the beginning of the film, it is undeniable that she has a good impression of Colonel Brandon, but...

      woman's struggle with herself

I recently started watching British dramas, and I started chasing them all of a sudden. I watched Downton, Sense and Sensibility, and Becoming Jane. Austin" and "Pride and Prejudice", I have to say that I really want to mix up several films because of my poor memory and understanding. The three keywords that impressed me the most are, marrying a daughter, dividing the inheritance, going to prom.

I'm sorry to say, I watched Downton because it was always mentioned in American...

Reason and emotion, zoomed in for you to see

The eldest daughter is introverted and calm, she always considers the situation and mood of the other party rationally, but always suppresses her own thoughts and wishes. She is a daughter, but sometimes she is taking care of her mother. If it wasn't for the equally responsible and responsible male ticket who was accidentally dissolved and already married (I want to say that it was necessary for the plot), she might have missed this sincere relationship.
      The second daughter was...
