Sorry, I'm just a state machine

Recently, I became obsessed with secret agent movies, and I revisited Jolie's "Agent Short". To be honest, I didn't understand it, which meant it was not good for me. So, I am not interested in other plots, editing, dynamics, etc. I won't comment, just talk about one of my most memorable scenes, Julie watching her husband Mike drown.

      #I am sorry

Starting with a Salt who can destroy the world

      1. The way North Korea tortures female spy suspects is so merciful, they pour cold water, slap her face twice, and wear a bra and clothes. And I can't think of any kind of North Korean prisoner who could have a reciprocal exchange with Short, let alone under Kim Jong-il.

      2. How a spy fell in love with a German biologist whom he knew not long ago, the emotion of being a secret agent is almost frozen, loneliness is their best ally, only loneliness will never betray.

      3. In the CIA...

"You were supposed to recruit him, and you fell in love with him."

It was actually edited into two versions. The second version I watched seven years later was not the same as it was seven years ago, and Salt's image was also very different.

The original version was that Short watched his husband get killed, killed all his comrades in his own hands in a rage, and stopped another Russian spy from launching a nuclear bomb on Muslim areas in the White House bunker. He was arrested and finally escaped by jumping into the sea from a helicopter. A later...

One of the best looking discs

This is the best Mission Impossible I've seen so far! Compared with the so-called high-scoring Mission: Impossible six-part series, it shows how high-level the screenwriter of this film is, and how clever the director's plot design is, which can be clearly understood by the audience! I always feel that art must be understood by most people, otherwise it may be the director's martial arts. What's the point? Compared to Zhang Yimou's recent art film "Shadow", this film may be called film and...

      Agent Short Story Analysis Memo

The heroine Salt and her boss Ted are both former Soviet agents, lurking in the CIA waiting for an opportunity to cause chaos. The secret service organization that the two really worked for was formerly a mysterious intelligence agency of the former Soviet Union. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the organization relied on its profound strength to hide in the world, with the ultimate goal of eliminating the United States and avenging the Soviet Union. It is not controlled by any...

This film tells everyone a truth, never test a woman with love. Jolie is really a stunner, the kind that stands out from the crowd. She is the only protagonist in the whole film to support the scene, which is tailor-made for her. Those big eyes that can talk, act calmly, passionate and cold-blooded, gentle and strong. It's a pity that the front of the plot is OK, but the back is not, it's more old-fashioned....

It is much stronger than her last "Wanted Order", but the fighting is a little weaker, far less than the performance in the ancient tomb. It's because of...

At first, I thought it was a bit too big, but then I thought it fell into a cliché. The motion design is crappy and subpar. Julie's performance is not outstanding...

Watching the extended version, the ins and outs of the movie's story are very clearly explained. Salt's growth experience and experience in North Korea are the foreshadowing of her later betrayal. This is actually a love story. Of course, Julie's fights are always so handsome. Although it's ridiculous to jump from one car to another, she is Julie. What's wrong with such a charming woman? OK? Finally, this will obviously be another movie series, let's wait for the next...

    Movie plot

The story begins in North Korea when Evelyn Sauter ( played by Angelina Jolie ) , an American businesswoman, is arrested by the Korean People’s Army for espionage. The sturdy soldier abused the American woman time and time again, forcing her to admit that she was an American agent. Fortunately, after a German biologist who admired her, the United States finally agreed to exchange hostages for Schott. After Sauter escaped from the sea...

    Actors and scripts

Philip Noyce first heard of the project in 2006, when he and Sony talked about the film. However, after that, Terry George wrote the script without letting him participate! Then, in 2008, Philip and the producer had further talks about the film. They thought of letting Tom Cruise participate. However, things were not as smooth as they expected. Tom has a lot of film appointments ready. send. One of the most critical reasons is the...

    Negative comment

I dare not say whether this boring movie made by Seiko can be a big hit, but I know I miss the unpretentiousness of "The Bourne". (The New Yorker Review)
"Agent Sauter", a meaningless carnival. ("New York" review)
A ridiculous, but credible spy film from a certain angle. ("Washington Post"...)

    Movie quotes

    • Ted Winter: Look, Ev, try to stay calm.

Evelyn Salt: I'm not a goddamn Russian spy.

Ted Winter: I didn't say you were. Let's go to my office, we can sort this out.

Peabody: No, no. We gotta go to a secure location. Now.

Ted Winter: All right. Doesn't get any more secure than this. Ev? Five minutes.

Evelyn Salt: Call Protective Services, find Mike.

      Ted Winter: I will.

      Evelyn Salt: This is bullshit.

    • Peabody: Hey. Why'd you kill him?

Evelyn Salt: Because somebody had to.

      Peabody: [punches her hard]

      Peabody: [to everyone else] What?

Evelyn Salt: By this, I take it you think everybody is who they say they are.

    • Peabody: She had the drop on me, Ted. Why didn't she shoot?
