      Ratatouille--Fantastic Imagination

Pixar's new "Ratatouille" (also known as "Food Story") will probably make many people nauseated, right? Hee hee, because I thought that what I was eating was actually made by a rat that crawled out of the gutter. The upwelling of gastric juice is no less than eating a fly, or half a bean worm, or from the gap between the teeth. Pull out a strand of hair.

      two impressions

I still prefer the translation of "ratatouille". I won't discuss the changes in the pros and cons of pixar's works here, I just want to briefly talk about the two parts of this movie that moved me.

        Part 1
After the little mouse was reunited with his lost relatives, his father took him to the door of a shop that sells rat traps. The little mouse had a conversation with his father:

No , dad . I don't believe it .You're telling me that the future is…Can only be...

More than a comment, it's an old man's reflection on his life

Embrace my rat reality and ideal

Reality and ideals each account for 1/2, this is me.
When you clearly discover my beauty, the mice say so, don't insult my value.

Reality: Oriental voles in the Dongting Lake area, because of the flood discharge in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the water level of Dongting Lake rises rapidly , forcing it to move inland. About 2 billion oriental voles started their journey. Humans were afraid, and began to drug and build walls. At present, the war between humans and...

      mouse cook

A very moving movie. Never heard of it before watching it. Saw it by chance on pplive. The development of the self-report is a bit drowsy, but I watched it patiently. How to say the story, a bit old-fashioned? not bad. Creativity is not bad. Maybe I'm past the age of believing everything, so even with such a good technical production, I still feel a little uncomfortable.
But I think, although it is an American movie, it is full of French romance. It's cute and touching, although the scene...

The theme is good, everyone can do what they want, don't limit yourself to your origin. The music and graphics are also good, but the main character is MOUSE, MOUSE, I really can't like this...

    Movie plot

Even the trivial little person has the power to dream, even if he is just a mouse living in the gutter. Don't think people are mice, but there is also a nice name-Xiaomi, and his dream is to become the head of the kitchen of a five-star hotel in France. Because of his unparalleled talent in smell, Xiaomi has been immersed in the glorious ideal of "chef" all his life, and has worked hard in this direction, ignoring the fact that he is...

    Behind the scenes gags

The French waiter who talks about cheese in the trailer is voiced by director Brad Bird.
At the very beginning of the trailer, a flyover appeared in a prominent place, and you can easily recognize it as the famous "Bridge of Arts" in Paris. As for the fictional hotel in the film, it is located across the Seine River, next to the Louvre, and to the southwest of the Carrousel Bridge. However, starting from this part of the Musée d’Orsay,...

    Movie quotes

    • Skinner: Surely you don't expect me to believe this is your first time cooking?

      Linguini: It's not.

      Skinner: I KNEW IT!

Linguini: It's my... second, third, fourth, fifth time. Monday was my first time. But I've taken out the garbage lots of times before that...

Skinner: Yes, yes, yes, have some more wine.

    • Anton Ego: In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the *new*. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new: an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto, "Anyone can cook." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist *can* come from *anywhere*. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France. I will be returning to Gusteau's soon, hungry for more.

    • [to Remy referring to his home]

Linguini: So this is it. It's not much but it's, y'know... not much.
