      Destruction of the Rebellious Spirit

Because of the relationship between the ending song of the "Light Tone Girl" movie, I was attracted to find this movie. Definitely not disappointed! It is worth mentioning that the title of another work "Shape of Sound" directed by Yamada Naoko also uses the music of The Who band.

Another cartoon with mod-style characters is "Rotating Girl", in which the most typical image is Miyamoto Chia who rides a scooter (different from a "motorbike") and wears a green coat.

      The two...

      False Presence in Subcultures

I didn't like rock and roll, but I fell in love with every background music in the movie. You can get five stars for music. Can people really find their worth in subcultures? My answer is, no. What the Morse people get in the subculture is comfort and relief from the complicated and tedious work. Here drugs, theft, and fights can be advertised as personalities, and short-lived pleasures and pleasures give them a sense of contentment and a false presence. But behind these pleasures is the...

We still have to choose life

Whether it's a rock clan or a mod clan, we are all the same.

I thought I was invincible and different, surrounded by a group of vulgar people, but I was not a part of this group of vulgar people.

I thought that love would grow old like I imagined, but everything was just too naive.

The idol who is regarded as a god is just a restaurant boy in life, and love is just playing like a fool, suddenly discovering that all of it is just self-deception to escape from...

Nothing to do with movie reviews

There are not so many words in the short comment code. I can't write long stories.
Changed from four stars to three stars at the last moment, purely personal preference. This is touted to be comparable to trainspotting, plus THE WHO's in-person care and uncle STING. Intuitively, 4 stars+ is indisputable, and below 3 stars is likely to be despised for being too mainstream and not youthful. But now is my attitude, TRAINSPOTTING this kind of film is only suitable for the age group of high...

      a little background

The Who band has been carrying the mod flag for the longest time, because Pete Townshend is interested in subcultures and is an amateur writer, so he looks at the mod movement almost from an anthropological point of view. He condensed his observations into a typical '70s concept album that the rest of the band didn't quite like. Linking them to the mod movement should go to their first manager (Pete Meaden) for pushing them in the mod direction, otherwise they might never...

The soundtrack is good but the movie is somewhat childish. . . Waves follow one wave after another, and the confused young people are also the waves behind the Yangtze River pushing the waves ahead. They are their own masters at night doing lowly jobs during the day, but can they really become their own masters? It’s just self-deception. PS Sting is so handsome, he is the only "amphetamine" in this movie. PPS Phil Davis was indeed a "madman" when he was...

    Movie quotes

    • Kev: I don't give a monkey's arsehole about Mods and Rockers. Underneath, we're all the same, 'n't we?

Jimmy: No, Kev, that's it. Look, I don't wanna be the same as everybody else. That's why I'm a Mod, see? I mean, you gotta be somebody, ain't ya, or you might as well jump in the sea and drown.

Kev: That's why I joined the army. To be different. To get away from all this. Don't matter where you go, there's always some cunt with stars and stripes who wants to push you about.

    • Kev: Hi Jim. What's the matter with you, then?

Jimmy: Well, that gear you got, it's leather.

Kev: That's it. Goes with the bike, dunnit?

      Jimmy: I never realised.

      Kev: You never realised what?

      Jimmy: Well, you's a rocker.

Kev: What, am I black or something?

Jimmy: You ain't exactly white in that sort of get-up, are you?

    • Jimmy: Bellboyyyyyy!
