      This film is CURSED!

Well, maybe not too many people have seen this movie, or have seen it but it's not terrible. Basically, the only director was Tobe Hooper (the director of Texas Chainsaw), and Steven Spielberg was a scriptwriter and not a director (because he was filming ET tightly at the time).

Think about this drama in 1982. The story is a bit earthy now, but it was a very real life event at the time. The biggest entertainment for Americans at that time was watching TV, so it was from the...

A detailed introduction to the "Curse of the Ghost Driving"

Legend has it that during the filming of the Ghost Driven Trilogy, the people who participated in the filming died one after another.

The Curse of Ghost Driven is a rumor between the movie "Ghost Driven" trilogy and the crew. The evidence is that four crew members died during the filming and release of the trilogy in six years. The beginning of the rumors was that real corpses were used in the shooting of the second episode of Ghost Expelling. In 2002, True Hollywood Story of...

Amazing starts, mediocrity ends-Impressions of the "Ghost Driven" series

Horror movies can be said to be the easiest and most difficult type to shoot. It seems that you can start shooting with a box of chopped tomatoes. But looking at the status quo of IMDB, this type is mostly low score. This is another easy one. It's a pattern, boring type. In this regard, Toby Hopper, who is more famous for "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", once presented a new horror film "Ghost Driven" with style and special effects in 1982, which used TV as "ghost-making point". "The...

The story is well told and has a certain degree of visibility.

      1. The overall story looks very ordinary and simple now, but it still finds it interesting. This is the brilliance of this film. The screenwriter and director jointly provided us with a standard version of the haunted house story sample. (The basic settings of the scenes and characters in James Wynn’s "Latent" and several books are very similar in frame to the film.)

      2. Whether a screenwriter or director can tell stories is indeed innate in my opinion. Just like Spielberg,...

      Memo

      1. Humans are over-exploited and ghosts can't live in peace, so they will come to scare you. As a real estate elite, the male protagonist unfortunately became the unlucky person selected by the ghost. He and his boss discussed the development prospects in front of the cemetery, which is quite ironic.

      2. The visual effect of the film is quite amazing. Many elements can be seen in the follow-up supernatural movies, such as automatic chair placement, dolls, spiritual world and...

The first half is relatively bland, starting from the beginning of inviting people to exorcise ghosts and slowly starting to be exciting: ghost exorcism lady + two men (I suspect that the ghost exorcism trio in lurking is a reference to this), Zelda who plays mother in "Evil Eye" Played as the god of exorcism, the mother entered the door of light to save her daughter, the huge skeleton in the door, the mud and corpses in the swimming pool. The reason why it ended up being haunted is that the...

I wanted to watch the 1981 Italian version of Ghostbusters, but I didn't expect this version. Many of the horror elements in it were borrowed from later movies, and the movie was spoofed in Scream and Laughter...

    Movie plot

The film was supervised by the famous American director Steven Spielberg and was shot in 1982. There are continuous horror episodes in the film, which fully reflects Spielberg's style.
"Ghost Driven" tells the story of a family of five living in a social area near the city, living an ordinary life, but all sorts of alien narratives began to occur in the house, furniture moved for no reason, etc. The community used to be a cemetery,...

    Movie quotes

    • Steve Freeling: I hate Pizza Hut! Where's supper? I don't understand, Diane. What the hell's going on around here?

    • Carol Anne Freeling: You promised pizza.

    • Dr. Lesh: Some people believe that when people die, there's a wonderful light, As bright as the sun. But it doesn't hurt to look into it. All the answers to all the questions that you ever want to know are inside that light. And when you walk to it, you become a part of it forever. And then, some people die but they don't know that they've gone.

Robbie Freeling: They think they're still alive?

Dr. Lesh: Yes. Maybe they didn't want to die. Maybe they weren't ready. Maybe they hadn't lived fully yet or they'd lived a long, long time and they still wanted more life. They resist going into that light, however hard the light wants them. They just... hang around. Watch TV, watch their friends grow up feeling unhappy and jealous and those feelings are bad. They hurt. And then, some people just get lost on the way to the light, and they need someone to guide them to it.

Robbie Freeling: So some people get angry and throw things around - like in my bedroom?

Dr. Lesh: Yes. Just like in school. Like some kids are nice to you, some kids are mean.

Robbie Freeling: I got beat up once by three kids. They took my lunch money. Maybe they got hit by a truck and they're upstairs right now!
