Right time, right scenery, right story, right film

Only by looking for history can we find out, this story is really beautiful. The character setting is reasonable, the ending is unconventional, and for that era, the picture is really beautiful and gorgeous.

Such an ending may make us feel uncomfortable, but it is the fact that the male and female protagonists cannot live happily together in the end, which adds a little regret to our ordinary Disney taste, making the film more suitable for the background of the times, and...

Courage, autonomy and reverence for nature

Disney animation in 1995, a little annoyed why I didn't discover it earlier, and a little lucky I didn't miss such a good animation.

A few days ago, NetEase Cloud pushed me the song "colors of the wind", which is still the puppet version, so I hurried to find the mv, only to find that it was the original sound of this animation.

After watching this movie, Pocahontas has become my favorite Disney heroine besides Bella. From that dream of hers, it heralded that her life would be...

      time has passed

I have heard the name and the theme song, and I have to say that the theme song is really good; however, what really motivated me to watch it was because I told her that she cried after watching this movie. Just download it. However, it is a pity that it is dubbed in Mandarin, and the favorability has been discounted several times.
             After watching it -
a movie from 1995 can be made like this, there are grand and subtle, there is love, family and country, there is firmness...

I hate writing long reviews, but short reviews don't need to write titles

I watched it a long time ago, my favorite Disney movie when I was a child, and I still like it when I look at it now, but I didn’t realize the pain behind Pocahontas and Smith’s final gestures when I watched it for the first time, and I didn’t think of Smith’s teaching in Pocahontas. The sentence he said when he gestured goodbye [I don't want to say goodbye to you] Maybe the Pocahontas in the wind should be brought by the wind, and then I left when the wind left. I
      watched Avatar...

Beautiful fantasy, but can not resist the historical correctness

In my childhood memories, I still fantasized about having the ability to take off when I sing a song. Now I think about it, this film also reflects racial discrimination and a black history of the Indians.

This is an adaptation of a real story, except that the real Pocahantos was 9 years old and saved John Smith, 22, but Pocahantos eventually grew up in England and married another John Ralfe, maybe there was more between the young Pocahantos and John Smith It's brother and sister love...

I watched a drama or a movie a long time ago and I heard that this animation has not been good. There are a few songs that are really good. The colors of the wind are also very...

I like the style of the movie very much. I like the style of the movie. The characters are plump, the heart is delineated, and the heart is delicate. The soundtrack and the voice of the characters are all good to listen to. Even people like me who are very obtuse about music are very moved. The words and songs of Granny Willow had a great influence on me. She was so kind....

    Evaluation action

"Pocahontas" is Disney's first attempt to find the subject matter of an animated feature film from a real historical event, and received mixed reviews. Compared with the problem of the film itself, the singing and dancing scenes continue to win the favor of the audience. Especially when the finishing touch theme song "The Color of Wind" appeared, the colorful pictures, creative painting style, and beautiful and magnificent tone were...

    Movie quotes

    • Grandmother Willow: Now then, there's something I want to show you. Look.

[dips her vine in the water in which glowing ripples begin to form]

      Pocahontas: The ripples.

      John Smith: What about them?

Grandmother Willow: So small at first, then look how they grow. But someone has to start them.

John Smith: They're not gonna listen to us.

Grandmother Willow: Young man, sometimes the right path is not the easiest one. Don't you see? Only when the fighting stops, can you be together.

      [Pocahontas smiles]

John Smith: Alright, let's go talk to your father.

[Pocahontas and John hug each other]

    • John Smith: Pocahontas.

Pocahontas: [hugs him] I'm so sorry.

John Smith: For what? This? I've gotten out of worse scrapes than this. Can't think of anything right now, but.

Pocahontas: [tearfully] It would've been better if we never met. None of this would've happened.

John Smith: Pocahontas, look at me. I'd rather die tomorrow than live a hundred years without knowing you.

      Nakoma: Pocahontas?

      Pocahontas: I can't leave you.

John Smith: You never will. No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you, forever.

      Pocahontas: [sadly leaves]

    • Lon: [Lon and Thomas are gazing at the new world for the first time] It's incredible!

Thomas: And it's all ours. I've never seen anything like it!

Ben: [approaching] It could look like Ratcliffe's knickers for all I care, so long as we get off the stinking boat!
