      Pandorum--Thoughts On Deep Space Amnesia

Deep space amnesia, as the name suggests, is an event that occurs in space around amnesia. As for who the protagonist is, then you can only know it if you taste it carefully. It is appropriate to classify this movie as action, science fiction, or thriller, but I personally think that its degree of horror is not very high (personal acceptance is different). I think the story progresses very slowly in the early part of the movie. Maybe this is deliberately designed by the director because he...

      about the existence of monsters

does not exist. It is a product of pure imagination, or one of the clinical manifestations of pandorum syndrome (which all awake people have on board).

Evidence, there are three plots in the film that suggest this:

      1. Shortly at the beginning, the male lead is captured and dragged away by a monster, but then he is played to talk to the male second captain. If the monster really exists, it has already eaten him.

      2. The beginning is not too long. Male number one...

An inexplicable place, an inexplicable person. . .

At first, I was drawn in by the poster, and I always thought it was not bad.

Who knows if you take a closer look, I can only say that I regret it super invincible.

The movie has a strong disaster-movie theme from the start. But with the development of the plot, there is a monster theme! And then at the end, the monster theme starts to shift again, into a psychotic theme! I was completely confused by the writers.
If you really want to lose memory in deep space, then...

A good script does not equal a good film

First of all, to quote the summary of the story from Baidu Encyclopedia:
In the next 21xx years, as the earth enters its twilight years, humanity begins to place its hopes on other habitable planets in the colony universe. Gemini was finally discovered, and the immigration program began. Because of the long distance and more than 100 years of sailing time, the crew was frozen, leaving only a few controllers to operate. Previous plans have failed due to the existence of Pandorum (mental...

If you watch too much, you will be tired

The movie was very attractive at the beginning. Although the introduction at the beginning was a bit long, it also made people want to understand what happened. At the beginning of the main film, a man climbed out of the dim and flickering lights. . . . . .
In the first 20 minutes, I thought it was a movie like "The Lost War" that revealed the truth by restoring memory, but I was wrong; as the plot developed, I thought it was like "Biochemical" Like "Crisis", maybe alien monsters...

I thought the score would be very high, but I didn't expect everyone to be quite calm. It’s easy to get high marks for this kind of convoluted film, but as long as it requires the audience to spend more than necessary energy to think and even watch it, it is necessary to study the background information and watch it a second time to understand most of the changed films. Subjectively I think the storytelling of this movie is simply terrible. What's even more outrageous is that the crossbow...

    Movie plot

When the two astronauts woke up and turned around after the drug hypnosis, they found that the place they were in seemed to be an abandoned space shuttle. State and completely lost the ability to judge the direction. It’s surprisingly quiet here, the only sound is the low roar of the machine when it is running and the creaking noise from the inside of the spacecraft-they can’t remember anything, they are, and what their mission is.

    Evaluation action

"Deep Space Amnesia" is like a hodgepodge of sci-fi and thrillers. These are flexible and aggressive mutant creatures in a dark and enclosed environment, and a group of ordinary survivors have to go through a huge spaceship to find a way out. Although not all elements in the film are original, it is undeniable that "Deep Space Amnesia" brings some strong personal characteristics. In the dark, mysterious, and bloody enclosed world, the...

    Movie quotes

    • Nadia: You just woke up?

Bower: Yeah. Just joining the party.

      Nadia: You'll never make it!

      Bower: And why is that?

Nadia: You're going in the wrong direction.

      [walks away]

    • Bower: What are you doing?

Leland: Nothing personal, guys. It's just "survival of the fittest"... Or maybe it's the brightest

      [mumbles]

Leland: if you know what I'm saying.

      Bower: You gassed us!

Leland: Oh yes! And I'm sorry, but I'm a little too old and too tired for the honorable way of hunting game.

Nadia: You better make sure I'm dead... oder ich reiss Dir Dein scheiss Herz raus du Wichser!

      Leland: [stabs her]

      Manh: [is yelling in Vietnamese]

Bower: You don't have to do this. We're on our way to save the ship.

Leland: Don't sweat it. I wouldn't have survived this long if I had a heart.

    • [Bower sees that his hand is shaking uncontrollably, and he speaks to Payton over the walkie-talkie]

Bower: Payton? Pandorum, you ever felt the symptoms?

Payton: [aghast] Of all the things to remember, why would you pick that? Were you thinking of the Eden mission?

      Bower: What about the Eden?

Payton: You just had to remind me of the biggest fucking catastrophe in space travel, the flight cautionary tale from Hell.

Bower: I remember, didn't they have some kind of hypersleep malfunction?

Payton: Three years into their shift, one of their officers had a psychological breakdown. The doctors referred to it as ODS symptom. The privates, we call it Pandorum. It drove him insane. He became convinced that the flight was cursed. Evil.

      Bower: What did he do?

Payton: He evacuated the ship. He launched them all into oblivion. Five thousand people sent to their death with one push of a button.
