If you can shoot from the front, please don't turn around with the back of your hand.

      1. Exaggerated dramatic tension, too long a pause in the shootout directly leads to weak tension. And these pauses are for very unreasonable reasons. In the end, the gun battle scene was very loose and not compact enough, and the last little bit of excitement was also consumed.
      2. Incoherent behavior. Because of editing problems, many characters' actions are incoherent and the editing is too rough.
      3. Lack of characterization. Many characters are too mentally handicapped to betray,...

A man who wants nothing is invincible

"A man who wants nothing is invincible."
This is what El's brother describes him in the movie.
His wife is dead, his daughter is dead, and he is dead. However, in my opinion, El did not want nothing, he lived like a corpse in the world for revenge and the pursuit of freedom. In the end, his two goals were merged into one. His enemy was the criminal who destroyed the freedom of the country. He hated the general who lived well, the sinner. It was the general who made him lose...

      lust first

Under the yellow sand in the sky, outlines the handsome face bestowed by God. Eyes that are as tender as water, full of affection. Trick the heart of love and lust. Behind him are colorful houses and stylish churches. The white dove flew up, the acoustic guitar flew with the sound of gunfire, and Xia Pi danced with the roses.
There is another rebellious girl, every inch of her body exudes stubbornness. Tulle clothes, wheat-colored skin, curly black hair, and a fiery red flower in full...

Once Upon a Time in Mexico: Son of Mexico

This is the final installment in Robert Rodriguez's trilogy.

I saw the first two that were a little older, but this one is the latest. Objectively speaking, this is one of my favorites.

Or the killer's story. This time, he's still getting revenge. I really don't get it, his whole life seems to be revenge. I think this trilogy, called "revenge trilogy" is the most appropriate. The difference between this film and the first two is that the main story has become scattered, not...

      messy messy messy

How should I put it, in the messy plot, each supporting role is more dazzling than the protagonist.

But I couldn't help thinking that if Hollywood dared to describe China in this way - everyone's life would be sloppy, and guns and corpses would look like shit on the street, and everyone wouldn't change their color. Then Hollywood will not be in the Chinese market, and will have to face endless protests from the Chinese government, and even criminal proceedings. How can the image of...

    Movie plot

El Marazzi ( Antonio Banderas ) , a unique Latin melancholic temperament , is a legendary Mexican folk hero and justice warrior. On the surface, he always wears gorgeous clothes like a western cowboy, and sings around with a guitar in his hand, as if he is a wandering singer. But in fact, what is surging under his cold long hair is the wildness of the border. In the desolate desert of Mexico, El Marazzi is the most feared gunman. In...

    Behind the scenes gags

There are many unexpected stories in the script that Robert Rodriguez told him by his uncle who used to be the FBI.
The film was shot almost without a script, and only the actor Antonio Banderas was the only one among the actors who had some knowledge of the storyline.

    Evaluation action

"Once Upon a Time in Mexico" is a representative work of Rodriguez's mature action film style. The wild and unruly Latin gunfights in the film are very enjoyable (Tencent Entertainment Review)   . The film was well received when it was screened at the Venice Film Festival. The media generally believed that audiences who like action films would love this film, and the charm of the actors also made the film full of highlights (Qingdao...

    • Billy: [Billy is meeting Blascoe at the Barillo Estate] You know, if I was you, son, I'd turn around and go back right now. Go back to where I came from. Instead of selling my mind and soul to these cocksuckers. You speak English?

      Blascoe: [Shakes his head no]

Billy: [sighs] I didn't think so. Come on, let's go.

    • [Sands has been captured by the Barillo cartel]

Ajedrez: Sorry, baby. I told you I wasn't interested in your little scheme. Too small.

Agent Sands: [Noticing the bandaged Barillo] Oh my Christ. Is that Barillo?

Ajedrez: That's the new Barillo. The old Barillo died in surgery a few hours ago.

Agent Sands: What kind of cartel would have you running its operations?

      Ajedrez: I'm his daughter.

      Jorge FBI: mid-procedure by now.

Jorge FBI: Federale agents... this is going down now
