      Nosferatu

It's hard to accept that I don't feel the classics of this movie. So I decided to give the film a sense of time to elevate it.

There is a terrible legend about Nosferatu. He is a supernatural being, cursed to live in endless darkness, eating fresh blood for a living. Be careful. Shouting his name out loud will attract him.

Wow. After the demise of the original individual, it can continue to survive in the darkness in another form. It's so fantastical.

      In fact, I can imagine...

Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (1922)

Continue the IMDB250 series. For me, this film only entered the list in January 2012. In fact, it has entered before, but it is always hovering on the edge of the 250 dividing line, coming in and out. Before the other IMDB250 movies are downloaded, watch them first.

The film tells the story of a couple and a vampire. In the...

      Watching Notes - "Nosferatu"

      1. The ghosts wandering in the castle are really scary, especially in such a gothic dress. 2. Hollywood's continuous editing is well learned from German films. The vampire's true face at night is also a typical sight-matching shot. What's even better is the voyeuristic viewpoint. 3. I don't know if it is because of the version I watched It seems that there is a problem with the night scene shooting at this time, and the day-to-night shooting is the same as the daytime. 4. It's anticlimactic,...

Vampires and the plague-a wake-up call for fear

The creation of the film and Germany in 1922. At this time, the German people were in dire straits caused by the defeat in the First World War. People's spiritual world was generally filled with panic and negativity. The rise of expressionism in Germany and its influence on movies produced many films that showed the state of people's spiritual world at that time.

The significance of this film lies in the concretization of the vampire, a symbol of horror, especially in the last two...

      Nonsense

Since knowing that this movie is a horror film, I can't control my heart, always with a trace of fear. But after watching it, there are some thoughts about this movie from the most obvious point of view. I looked for this movie because I saw a film list, and only because of the love of the movie, I will be retro. What I haven't seen from other places for this movie is that its color tone is still used, that is, in daytime or bright places, the overall picture is yellow, and when it is dark...

As a vampire movie of the 1920s, the plot is very simple today, and you can't ask for a storyline as complex or engaging as it is today to support the movie to attract audiences. For the early silent films, the real influence came from the innovation and experimentation of audiovisual language, the perfection and evolution of the film art form. The film was undoubtedly ahead of its time, experimental and...

I compared vampires and plagues to the fear of modern life. After watching the footage, I realized that this film was also quite rough, and it was almost destroyed. The modern audience is basically not very scary, but the gloomy atmosphere is still very strong, and the film is like a shadow-like...

The contrived performances and exaggerated plots of the silent film era, the story is top-heavy, leaving the female protagonist to bear all the hysteria and final death without completing the narrative role. There are also frame-drawing "special effects" and very good character makeup. The clever use of lighting and shadows is Murnau's strength, and it is also a special feature of early horror films as an expressionist...

    Movie plot

The story takes place in Germany in the 1830s. Hart is a kind-hearted real estate agent. He lives in Bremen with his young and beautiful wife, Allen, and lives in harmony and happiness.
Once, for a real estate business, Hart went up the Danube to a castle in the hinterland of the Carpathians. The owner of the castle, Earl Orlov (Earl Nosferatu-A Symphony Of horror), was entertaining guests when he caught a glimpse of the picture of Alan...

    Background creation

The vampire in the film is not called Dracula , but Count Orlov. The reason why Murnau changed the name of the character was to conceal the fact that the script was mostly adapted from Bram Stoker's 1897 novel "Dracula", because Murnau did not buy the copyright to the novel before filming. Stoke’s widowrelict; French sued Mornau and won the case, and the official banned the film. Fortunately, several copies of the film were left. It...
