    • "NEON GENESIS EVANGELION" is a Japanese animation work co-produced by GAINAX and Tatsunoko Production , referred to as EVA. It premiered on TV Tokyo, Japan from October 4, 1995 to March 27, 1996, with 26 episodes in total. A Hideaki Anno as the main screenwriter and director, Sadamoto Yoshiyuki as character design, Ogata Megumi , Hayashibara Megumi , Yūko Miyamura , Mitsuishi Kotono , who served as the main dub.
    The work is set on the stage of the 2015 world where the "Second Impact" disaster occurred. It mainly tells the story of 14-year-old girls controlling the huge universal humanoid decisive weapon "EVA", and the mysterious enemy who attacked the third new Tokyo city" The story of the battle between the apostles.
    The audience ratings of the film were sluggish during the broadcast, but after the end of the play, it caused a strong and mixed response in the society. It, alongside " Space battleship yamato " in the 1970s and " Mobile Suit Gundam " in the 1980s , became the third generation of animation works that had an impact on later generations of animation works and sparked an animation boom. In 1997, the theater version of the animation " NEON GENESIS EVANGELION Air/True For You " was released, which was different from the TV animation series ending (episode 25 and final episode) .
