The mood is a little weaker

Not much to say about the praise.
It's just that the characters made in animation are thinner after all, especially in such a grand background environment, both in meaning and reality... I haven't seen the original German "Metropolis" or the original comic book, but I can still feel it. Otomo Keyang's in-depth thinking on its theme - but if you only look at the shaping and expressiveness of the characters in the film itself, it is not enough to arouse the general resonance of the audience,...

People who haven't seen Osamu Tezuka, it's a pity

Some people love the "Three Laws of Robotics" proposed by Wells, some people admire Spielberg's "AI", and "I Robot" and "Terminator" also fascinate me.
All those who are obsessed with robots love these sci-fi themes that describe the rebellion of robots. However, I also feel sorry for the people in the European and American film circles. They still think that the fantasy and depth of robots are very advanced. In the eyes of another person, it is just paper. On the picture scroll, it is as...

      A journey of self-awakening

From the birth of tima to knowing kenichi, and kenichi's face when he asked tima "who are you", to being told that it is a robot, it is presupposed that the robot will have self-awareness, and realize the relationship between human and robot. When the awakening of her self-consciousness means the difference in the essence of existence and the rupture of the relationship between her and kenichi, "the question of where did she come from" bothers her, when she asks "who am I?" It means that she...

      miscellaneous

I want to talk about everything, but nothing is explained clearly. It is superficial and the plot is not smooth. Some take it for granted.

A slight dystopia, there is always a contrast of extreme desolation after the extreme prosperity, although it is old-fashioned, I like it.

And the climax plot does not explode with sound effects, but with soothing music. This is a good habit, and it reminds me that ruffians are also good at destroying BGM.

In the end, it's still a story...

In such a world, neither robots nor people can live

Personally, I think the storyline of such movies is second, of course, this is not to say that the storyline of "Metropolis" is bad. But, more importantly, it charts a possibility for the future and gives its own understanding of how humans and robots (or artificial intelligence) will live in harmony in the future.

As far as the plot is concerned, the one that impressed me the most is the scene of the robot putting out the fire, and the other is the scene of the collapse of Jigurui....

Under the disproportionate demise of jazz, everything is just right. In the end, she wants to return to herself and leave a hand that she can't hold, otherwise the sentence "Who am I" has no meaning. If the robot is also deeply in love with people, then it is better to do the former. There are shadows of Otomo Keyang everywhere in the painting style, which is not beautiful enough, but wins with exquisite backgrounds. The wind blew, and in the halo, Tima's hair seemed to...

I don't love it very much. Tima also said that Kenichi is Okuto-san. Well, the building is also very weak, and it is said that if you want to destroy the world, you should give Rock a finger to destroy...

Metropolis is a futuristic city where humans and robots coexist. But robots are discriminated against, and many residents are unemployed and living in poverty, blaming robots for taking their jobs.

    Background creation

The "Metropolis" series of comics has not been introduced to China, but it has a far-reaching influence in Japan. Its wonderful conception of the future world has influenced many animators, including screenwriter Otomo Keyo. The design of the future city in his "AKIRA" can be seen in many places. It is precisely because he likes Osamu Tezuka's old work 50 years ago that Otomo Keyang agreed to adapt the original work and put it on the...

    Evaluation action

"Metropolis", a manga created by Osamu Tezuka, was re-adapted by Otomo Keyo. In addition to retaining the original main story, it also strengthened the problems encountered by humans in the age of technology, and highlighted the inner conflict between humans and robots. The film strongly satirizes the extreme form of industrial society development in a sci-fi way, showing that when the worship of machines exceeds a certain limit, the...

    Movie quotes

    • Tima: [Tima has just discovered that she is a robot, not a human] I am an artificial human. A machine created to conquer the world and destroy it.

    • Tima: [Tima is going to destroy the world] This is punishment for toying with robots.

    • Tima: The probability of mankind's survival will be 30% in one hour. Control of the Ziggurat is now being transferred to my operating system. All supplemental Earth weaponry will be activated from my network in 30 minutes. Attack targets are the world's major cities and 7,586 additional facilities. Destruction of the human race will begin through irradiation and use of multiple weapon systems. This will be complete in 17 hours, 27 minutes.

Ban Syunsaku : Hige-Oyaji: Did you hear that, Duke Red? The superhuman you created is saying it doesn't need us anymore.
