I first watched this movie under the name of Heath Ledger.
However, it was later discovered that he was not the protagonist, and in the movie he eventually turned from a small shop owner to a "dead worker", so I was very depressed.
Those little kids who formed deep friendships because of skateboarding were finally separated by "money". Although at the end of the film, they reunited because of West Germany's illness, it always feels far-fetched. Maybe their friendship was not strong...

About skateboarding, youth, and long hair
I think this is not a movie that requires esoteric language to comment or give a conclusion. It's about youth, money, fame and status.
The film is fast-paced, there is no boring scene, and it was a dazzling skateboarding performance not long after the beginning. But what excites me most is not this, but what I have already seen in the trailer: a sea of long hair fluttering.
Whether young or old, all men have long hair: long curly hair, long straight hair, long black hair, long...

The reason why I watched this film is because its content is extreme sports, but after watching it, I found it was great and nothing to say. He made my 20-year-old cry.
The beginning of the film was SKATER in the middle of the night. Rough and real skateboarding action, and every action contains rebellion. This retro feeling makes people suddenly return to the arrogant 70s, full of yearning.
The monstrous waves of the abandoned dock show Z-Boys again They are tenacious. It is this...

The youth paradise that can't go back
I originally thought of this movie as a youth movie or a display of skateboarding culture. I suddenly awakened when I saw the middle and late stages of the movie. This is actually a movie about life. A rebellious teenager, the blue ocean of Dogtown, the sun on the coast of California, a girl in hot dress, living wantonly in the dazzling youth. Even poverty can't hide their love of skateboarding and their passion for life.
The beginning of the story is always beautiful, not exactly. The...

Why is the skateboard in the movie different from what you have seen?
There are so many comments about music, some about the 70s, I will talk about skateboarding that most people don't understand.
Summarize the movie first: the
plot is very good, and the character of each character is very real. There are the jealousy of Uncle Surfing, the selfishness of Stacy, the vanity of Tony, the don't give a shit of Jay, who is handsome and who is good for girls, and who is rich and who is good for women... The
story is also very real, History is a...

Anti-mainstream adolescent films. Different from the setback-decadence-apocalyptic-prosperity youth films that I have seen in the past, the structure seems to be chaotic but not procrastinated. Several boys have created a three-dimensional shape, which is worth...

Skip: You gotta approach every day as if it's your last!
Stacy: Skip called me ''bro''!
Kathy Alva: Skip called you ''bro''?
Stacy: Yeah, he said ''bro''!
Kathy Alva: No, he didn't.
Stacy: Yes, he did. He said ''you look hungry, bro''.
Kathy Alva: He said ''you look hungry, bro''?
Stacy: Yes, totally!
Kathy Alva: Skip Engbloom doesn't call anybody ''bro''.
[laughs]
Skip: [after Stacy received the Z-boys t-shirt at the diner] You earned it, bro...
Sid: Yeah, you're one of us now!
Jay: That maggot has always been one of us.
Skip: Yeah, wear it with pride, man.
Stacy: You know I will!
Skip: Hey, Stacey, that t-shirt will get you more titty than you ever dreamed of, man!
[laughs]
Kathy Alva: I got my boy covered, Skip.
