Pi's Fantasy Drift: The Big Thing Ended Me Invisibly

The plot is not analyzed, the connotation is not excavated, the details are not amazing, the picture is not intoxicated, and the soybean oil that has been seen and understood has been fully expressed. The love of Yang Zhi moisturizes things silently.

The biggest IMAX I have traveled to see, like all my friends, I will hear many people around me disappointed and say that they are not as good as they imagined. I know they are looking forward to more dazzling pictures and exciting...

      Fearless under pressure

When the teenage 'Pi' managed to reach the coast of Mexico and lay on the beach, I woke up from that fantasy world. "The Fantastic Drifting of Pi" directed by Ang Lee is really wonderful. At the same time, I also deeply admire Pi's courage and endurance. Pi's father is a zoo director, and his family and animals are tragically shipwrecked on their way to Canada. The ship sinks to the bottom of the ocean, but the young Pi and a tiger survive. The bereaved Pi was devastated and terrified when...

Thunder strikes, rain falls, the sky will be sunny

After watching this movie, I went to see Shepherd Boys.

Finding yourself on a journey that is almost spiritual is actually a movie that resonates very well.
I just hope that I don't become that vulgar person again after watching the brief touching.

Thunder strikes, rain falls, and the sky naturally clears.

Living in a country with the most serious lack of faith, watching such a movie is equivalent to a blood transfusion. The deep sea, the vast starry sky, the...

Only "drifting" can't save one's "life"

"I totally disregarded my father's wishes, even disobeyed my father's orders, and completely disobeyed my mother's pleas and the dissuasion of my friends. This nature of mine seems to be doomed to my unfortunate fate in the future" - "Robinson Crusoe" - —Another adventure saga we are familiar with. Before the beginning of "Drifting", the two protagonists seem to be in the same situation: they are in the upper class of their own society, have conflicting values with their father, are...

After reading it twice, I finally understand some things

Watching it twice is for the beauty of the visual, but also to organize the meaning of the plot.

In the whole movie theater, the director is telling us stories through π.

A story about religion, belief, destiny, humanity, divinity and bestiality.

What the interviewer French represents is the audience's perspective. Everything before π's shipwreck is a foreshadowing for the subsequent encounter, and the metaphors in the film can be seen everywhere.

      When...

Richard Parker is the tiger in my heart. The last thing we should not forget when we discuss faith is to understand that the power to believe is always in our own hands. The kind of person you are, you will choose to believe what kind of story, and there are some things you know in your heart but still follow the affirmation, this is the belief you choose. Ang Lee uses the dual wisdom of the East and the West to restore and enhance the original work to the greatest extent, and everything is so...

    Fusion of business and art

Ang Lee has a leisurely control over the rhythm of the whole film, not irritable or procrastinated, not noisy or dull. The film found the best breakthrough point between commercial films and literary films. The film uses bright and gentle tones, soft and mysterious music, simple and clear stories, and faint philosophies to guide the audience to explore the profound meaning behind the story. At the end of the film, another version of...

    Movie quotes

    • Pi Patel: [voice over] I never thought a small piece of shade could bring me so much happiness. That a pile of tools, a bucket, a knife, a pencil, might become my greatest treasures. Or that knowing Richard Parker was here might ever bring me peace. In times like these, I remember that he has as little experience of the real world as I do. We were both raised in a zoo by the same master. Now we've been orphaned, left to face our ultimate master together. Without Richard Parker, I would have died by now. My fear of him keeps me alert. Tending to his needs gives my life purpose.

    • Pi Patel: Hunger can change everything you thought you knew about yourself.

    • Mamaji: [to Pi] A mouthful of water will not harm you, but panic will.
