A hilarious study in the gentle art of murder

The title is copied from the British version of the poster--The French translation is probably the nobility's gratitude (Noblesse Oblige, perhaps the inevitable destiny of the nobility)
The plot is probably about a young man of noble blood. His mother is the daughter of the Duke, but he eloped with the poor opera actor. His father died of excitement because of his birth. Then the fucking relatives completely ignored their existence, so they were mother and son. The two had a miserable...

      Movie History-Kind Hearts and Coronets

Although classified as an Yi Ling comedy, "Benevolence and Crown" is surprisingly different from its genre. Ealing's comedy is casual and elegant, even smug, while Robert Hammer's black comedy about a noble serial killer is cold-blooded and unsympathetic. The humor of Yi Ling's comedy comes from kind folk stories, and "Benevolence and Crown" presents a brisk, ironic and funny style. Yiling's comedy likes to make major events smaller, allowing both parties in the conflict to shake hands and make...

Benevolence is more important than Guimian

Based on the British writer Roy Hoyman's novel of the same name, "Benevolence and Crown" raises a simple question, namely, how big a person's ambition is. In the film, Louis uses revenge as a means to gradually change from a lowly punk to a duke of ten thousand people. The real motivation is undoubtedly the unlimited expansion of ambition. The success of the film lies precisely in the unconventional plot setting of the story narration. Of course, the director's handy British humor is also...

      too fake

Shooting the theme in 1868 in 1949 is equivalent to shooting the 1939 film now. Both feel that the theme was made a long time ago.

It proves once again that the choice of major turning points in life determines the quality of life and the direction of life

Possessing money that can’t be spent in a few lifetimes, and a wealth of income with a steady stream of cash flow, entering politics at this time is playing games,...

"Benevolence and Crown": Faith is better than blood

When I was a child, I heard and witnessed the unfair treatment of my deceased mother, and when I was an adult, I was betrayed by love. Under the double blow and double hatred, a plan of revenge against this abominable family was started. Step by step methodically, calmly and happily. British writer Roy Hoyman’s novel of the same name seems to be tailor-made for the mysterious male protagonist Alek Guinness. It is a mysterious life experience and interprets a mysterious story. It not only plays...

Because there are a lot of people to kill, the plot will follow a wave, and it will not be cold, and it will also make people involuntarily help the male protagonist want to kill the method, which is very immersive. This must be the type of Scorpio male who is the most stubborn and must report, the typical representative of the needle nose and the heart, the combination of a gentleman and a serial killer is very...

A very delicate and elegant comedy, it's more of a noble excuse than revenge, the concept of murder is almost vague, and this view of good and evil is amazing...but first love is really a bitch! ! ! Omg I want to jump up and slap...

The elegant and interesting dialogue creates endless irony effects, the noble blood relationship is handled wonderfully, and there are several heartfelt jokes. The plot arrangement is very interesting. Star Wars Obi-Wan plays Guinness. Impressive, one person plays eight roles, Each one made the audience's eyes bright, the British accent was laughing again and again, full of humor, and the small items in the scene were also very unique. No wonder British gentlemen are the most popular all over...

    Behind the scenes gags

When Louis attacked with a knife in the film, he hit the attacker with a punch, making him unconscious. Although the sound effect is audible, but from the film you can see that the fist cannot be connected
In the movie, at the boat berth, when Louis murdered someone for the first time, he was completely wearing clothes and swimming in the water. However, Louis did not bring a change of clothes or even a towel to dry. After he committed...

    • Sibella: [sobs] Oh Louis! I don't want to marry Lionel!

      Louis Mazzini: Why not?

      Sibella: He's so dull.

Louis Mazzini: I must admit he exhibits the most extraordinary capacity for middle age that I've ever encountered in a young man of twenty-four.

    • Sibella: What would you say if she asked you about me?

Louis Mazzini: I'd say that you were the perfect combination of imperfections. I'd say that your nose was just a little too short, your mouth just a little too wide. But yours was a face that a man could see in his dreams for the whole of his life. I'd say that you were vain, selfish, cruel, deceitful. I'd say that you were adorable. I'd say that you were... Sibella.

      Sibella: What a pretty speech.

      Louis Mazzini: I mean it.

Sibella: [seductively] Come and say it to me again.
