Film Critic, Powers Next Door Keeping Up with the Joneses, Zach Galifianakis makes another hilarious appearance

I recently downloaded an American comedy. Although I have no interest in American humor, I still watched it patiently. To be honest, the laughter of the film is very ordinary, but the male protagonist Jeff Gaffney (Zach Galifianakis, "Hangover" series, One of the three leading actors), but it made me laugh wildly. This buddy and Isla Fisher are definitely the funny highlights of the film (don't mention that pair, I really don't feel it), all the jokes come from this couple.

      pure comedy

It's a pure comedy film with no connotation, no acting skills, and the plot can be ignored. The only bright spot is the figure of the two actresses. It is completely based on the template of American comedy. In fact, it can be seen from the propaganda that the men and women on the poster are not the protagonists in the film, but the film that uses handsome guys and beauties to attract money. Gal Gadot is really too beautiful, she has nothing to say about her appearance or figure, but it's a...

      boring american comedy

      Text / Mengli Shishu

expected to find another way to present the secret agent movie "The Power Next Door" as a comedy, but it did not present enough joy as expected, and it was difficult to make up the seemingly exaggerated and crazy plot, and it was difficult to really mobilize the audience's emotions , although there is occasional humor, but more is just another taste of Hollywood popcorn routines.

The movie tells the story of a couple who lived an ordinary life and...

What the hell did Ella and Gadot say in the dressing room?

This film is really on the scale of fascination. All kinds of filth and ambiguous same-sex relationships, including the last lily kiss, were not edited. Instead, a paragraph was edited, and the editing marks were so obvious that it was embarrassing.
Now I'm even more curious about it, there really is no silver tael here.
The biggest attraction of this film is the two heroines. No matter how handsome Uncle Qiao is, he doesn't feel that he exists. Gadot's legs and Ella's...

The American comedy is very entertaining, with a moderate amount of adult laughter. The performance of the two couples completely overshadowed the starring's limelight. The first half was acceptable, but the second half fell; It's annoying, and it can't be entertaining if it's not deliberately...

    Evaluation action

The film is equipped with a large cast, and it is a waste of director's talent to give such a script that moaning and moaning. ("Hollywood Reporter" review)
"Keeping Up with the Joneses" may be somewhat talented compared to other spy sub-genre movies, but there are too few laughs, especially for such a romantic action comedy genre, it is even more problematic, after all, it is not a thriller. (Comment on "International Screen")

    Movie quotes

    • [last lines]

Jeff Gaffney: [hiding under a table during a shootout] I missed them.

Karen Gaffney: [ducks down beside him] Me too.

    • Natalie Jones: How could you not tell me you were feeling this way?

Tim Jones: Well, look... to be honest, you are not exactly the easiest woman in the world for a man to admit his fears to.

Natalie Jones: [stunned and angry] What? How can you say that to me? I'm compassionate and sensitive. You can say anything to me.

Natalie Jones: [in Hebrew] Tafsik lihiot kaze nekeva kol hazman!

[= stop acting like a pussy all the time!]

Tim Jones: Well, calling me a pussy in Hebrew is not helping things.

[Tim drops the keys on the table. Suddenly, his foot hits something. He looks down and notices a tripwire]

      Tim Jones: [quietly] Run.

[Tim and Natalie run and jump through the window. A second later, the whole house explodes]

    • Natalie Jones: You broke into our house. What kind of neighbors are you?

Karen Gaffney: You bugged our house. What kind of neighbors are you?

Tim Jones: She kind of has a point.
