      K-19: The Widowmaker--Patriotism and Soldiers

What is patriotism? What is the greatest benevolence of soldiers? Patriotism is not what the country can do for you, but what you can do for the country. In the era of the US-Soviet hegemony, the nuclear submarine was the most advanced submarine in the fleet. In the era of the US-Soviet hegemony, it was tantamount to a symbol of the national strength of the motherland. But when a nuclear leak occurs, it...

      To comrades

How I wish this movie was widely circulated as a banned film, which is more of an accolade than a disparagement of it. Also, this movie should really be banned because it spreads a spirit called gay. Every time I see the captain saying to comrades, I get mixed feelings. Without the motherland, there is no future, and even the present will be lost at any time. All the crew can rely on themselves and their comrades, and the motherland can only rely on them and their comrades. It was also...

      untitled

      Three-and-a-half-star
many people say that the United States has made the enemy so well, how can it be
      so political, can't see it
, the Soviet high-level inside seems so idiots, arrogance
is obviously a very important experiment, it's a mess, and
you don't know the real situation How is it? Let’s take a look for a moment

      and then look back at
the soldiers on the submarine. The officers
may have made mistakes, but the spirit displayed is still worthy...

All u need is a Captain Kirk

      1. Just two days ago, the documentary channel was reviewing this famous incident. It is estimated that the soundtrack of this film was also borrowed. The younger you are, the more fictional you cry, and the older you get, the more you cry about reality.

      2. But only fiction has a happy ending. You see, brother-in-law Jack braved radiation into the cabin to repair, disfigured and hung up; Captain Kirk did the same in Star Trek this year, and nothing happened. The appeal of good friends...

      About duty

I often ask myself: "If I were to command such a broken ship, would I be able to do better than the captain in the show? What am I missing compared to him?"

There is no doubt that K19 is a song A heroic hymn about duty. But when in a team, everyone's understanding of their respective duties can't be unified, and each has a small abacus, and even destroys each other and sees each other's jokes, what else can I do? Am I empowered enough to do what I'm supposed to do - "punish evil and...

A very good film, which profoundly demonstrates the plight and patriotism of Soviet soldiers in the context of the nuclear arms race between the Soviet Union and the United States during the Cold War. It also greatly reflects the broad-mindedness of both the patriotism and the team when faced with the choice of life and death at the same time. The officers and men on the K-19 are a group of unsung...

The Soviet Union shot by the Americans is a little praising. The plot does not involve any political meaning, but simply tells the story of a group of submarine soldiers escaping from death, which is relatively simple and not very...

    • Captain Alexei Vostrikov: How are the men?

Dr. Savran: How would I know? I don't know the first thing about radiation sickness.

      Captain Alexei Vostrikov: Please...

Dr. Savran: I'm giving them aspirin. And I'm trying to prevent those who are dying from irradiating those of us who still have some hope.

Captain Alexei Vostrikov: Pull yourself together. You're an officer in the Soviet Navy. Go back and tell them that they're improving. As you say, you know nothing about radiation sickness. Perhaps they are.

    • Captain Alexei Vostrikov: Under no circumstances will I abandon my boat or my crew to the enemy.

    • Capt. Mikhail Polenin: At every stage of this disaster, which came within moments of being a far greater disaster, the officers and crew did what had to be done. Seven are now dead and nobody knows how many more are dying, or how fast. These are the men who returned home to be interrogated as if a crime had been committed, questioned, even while undergoing treatment for radiation poisoning, locked up and denied access to wives and families but they and their comrades saved K-19 and maybe, just maybe, they saved all of you as well. one thing more, please, no captain in the soviet navy has ever been faced with such decisions the fate of the boat, the crew, and the fate of the world all in balance. The navy is my life. And one thing I know, there can only be one captain of a ship. The burden of command is on his shoulders, and his alone. None of you - none of you - has the right to judge captain Vostrikov. You weren't there. I was. He was our captain. He was my captain. And it would be an honor to sail under his command again.
