      chrysanthemum beans

On the surface, "Ju Dou" is an unethical story of an adopted son falling in love with his aunt, but there is an extremely grand theme behind him, that is, China's thousands of years of feudal ethics have actually swallowed up the freedom of countless people. After tossing and tossing his concubine to death, Jinshan can justifiably spend money to buy Judou, who is more than 20 years younger than himself. He can also sexually abuse and beat Judou in the name of inheriting the lineage....

Zhang Yimou's love for Gong Li

I don't know the grievances and grievances between them, but in this play, they should be very loving, right? Gong Li does not have very dazzling costumes in this film, nor does it have any big scenes. The makeup should be very, very simple, but it is very beautiful. All the lighting, script, and scenes revolve around her.

Even if she was derailed, had an affair with a servant, and gave birth to a child that was not the miller's, but I think everything is excusable, because of poverty...

Judou's love is sincere, desperate, and the temperament of daring to love and hate is admirable. It's a pity that Tian Qing is still relatively cowardly and is unwilling to face the ethics directly.

Lao Mouzi's tonal art is really amazing, forcibly photographing Yuanwang's courtyard wall to give the feeling of ink and water landscape. The overwhelming cloth flew up and down, making people confused. The old man bought a beautiful girl, and the eldest nephew shook his heart and peeped through a small hole. The young aunt who was unable to give birth to a child was tortured, and when she discovered the hole for peeping, from fertilization, annoyance, fear to joy, and then letting go, you...

      all beings suffer

Judou's movie is like a man with a festering body, full of pustules, rotten, stinky and maggots showing you his body, you will sigh at the suffering of all beings, but you can only sit and talk about it, the road is dark and the front It's too hard, how can it be so hard. Under Zhang Yimou's camera, Gong Li is pure and lustful. The beauty of standing in the interlaced light and shadow when the clothes are neat, and the decadent desire beauty of standing in the donkey shed with bruised...

Sure enough, the tragedy is more shocking.

After reading "Alive", I thought that the national teacher was still a soft-hearted person. Now that I've finished watching "Judou", I don't feel that way anymore. Director Zhang was very decisive this time, and the ending was a complete tragedy, burning all suffering in the fire. As if all the struggles are pointless, the fate has been doomed, this is the re-enactment of the Oedipus-style tragedy.

The root of this tragedy is, of course, the feudal etiquette and ethics that have...

The inheritance of feudalism is not only successfully expressed because of the theme of blood, but it is also too theme-oriented, and the information in the film is too little... a little flat. The feudal parents whose children are incarnated by feudal ethics are the hatred of my whole life. They have gained the moral commanding heights in concept and become murderers in an open and honest way. For me personally, the power of the ending is really too strong, burn! Burn your motherfucker! The...

This is really the only movie that thinks Zhang Yimou made a bad movie. The whole film is a feeling of scale for the sake of scale. Looking at Judou, it reminds me of Yan Geling's "The Ninth Widow", but the whole film of Judou is unbelievable and only has an affair with Tianqing, and the child born will be the big boss in the end Ah, not only does he look as scary as a freak, but the whole film also killed his own parents and mothers without saying a word, and he laughed happily again, it was...

    Creative background

After completing the second film "Puma" directed by himself, Zhang Yimou took a fancy to Liu Guanjun's novel "Fuxi Fuxi" and decided to adapt it into a movie. He believes that "Fuxi Fuxi" criticized the Chinese without mercy, and portrayed the Chinese people's human nature in a very wooden way. He compares this novel with "Red Sorghum" and feels that "Red Sorghum" is full of idealistic humanity, and "Fuxi Fuxi" depicts the real Chinese...

    Evaluation action

Zhang Yimou's "Ju Dou" deliberately returns to the style of "Red Sorghum", with colorful and beautiful composition, you can feel that the director has done everything possible  . (Commented by British film critic Bill Austin)
The profundity of the film lies in that it reveals the distortion of humanity caused by the name of ethics, and almost everyone here is not immune. It is a tragic song that exposes the huge conflict between the...
