Probably the same group of performers was used for the two trials.

The narrative of the film is very rough, Gerry's futile emotional catharsis runs through, and some branches seem a bit lengthy.
Perhaps in order to stay true to the truth, and the plot itself is full and extreme enough, there is almost no doubt that the end of the fire can give the audience a strong emotional feedback.

After the climax came to an abrupt end, I didn't pay much attention to the ending of the characters in the subtitles, but I remembered these scenes:
      1. When...

      introspection

The courage of the female lawyer is admirable, the inner world of the male protagonist is moving, and the traditional and deep love of the father makes people cry.
When individual rights and power conflict, in the whirlpool of struggle, how can individuals protect themselves?
Looking back at ourselves, how can we defend our rights in the face of injustice?
How do you understand and make decisions about your different ideas from your parents?
      In contrast to society, is...

      An inescapable light.

      very short.
I don't know if it was the right decision to watch In the name of the father at night. I cried from the middle of the story to the end. The relationship between father and son is actually very delicate. The son always fights against his father’s status when he is young, and engages in a tug-of-war with his father’s role. Then, as time goes by, this confrontation gradually becomes understanding, until the father starts to show weakness when he grows old, and the son Take over...

Our teacher let me write a biography~ When judicial independence and judicial fairness are undermined

The homework of the class with the case ~ the movie is very touching. As a non-law student, I am not a firm believer in the law, and I am also very confused between the law and the regime. Constitutional state or strong government? Faith in Law or Political Faith? At least the latter proved to be unreliable. As someone who still has some traditional ideas, it is difficult to take a firm stand.

      Notes Spare 2

      There are original and reprinted

"In the Name of the Father" 1993, In The Name of The Father. Because of Zhu Ling's case, I am even more impressed, as much as "Rwanda Hotel" shocked me. Natural disasters may be unstoppable, but man-made disasters! ~
Background: Caused by a bombing in Guildford, England Oct. 5, 1974. Starting from the protagonist's hometown of Northern Ireland, in the early 1970s, the North City was in chaos (BRITS OUT - the British got out), the streets were full...

The story is good, I think it could have been better. Written in 2009. I watched this film again today, and exclaimed, God, when did I watch this film, what,...

True Events Jim Sheridan takes Lewis' tense performance to the extreme! How many people in this world have been framed by the government and have been wronged, too many. This film truly reproduces the democratic contradiction between Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom, the confrontation between weak individuals and the great justice! The love of father and son is...

Adapted from a real case, a dark scene in British judicial history. I don't disagree with a bunch of people who say "compared to China, this is just a pediatrician", but in the same situation here, at best, insensitive people will be selected to appear on the CCTV judicial program, and it has not been possible to put them on the big screen. The young Daniel Day-Lewis is already very good, and the director is still...

What is this in the heaven, what is this! Just forced a confession, fabricated evidence, and beat you up. Ha, the prostitutes of the Celestial Dynasty are very calm. Daniel Day-Lewis is so...

This story fully shows that it is still very difficult to fight between the people and the officials. A very good story, it can also be said to be one of the models of grievance movies, but the movie adapted from real events is not as shocking as expected. It should be said that the filming did not produce the desired effect. This kind of film of later generations has set an example. Daniel Dai. Lewis's acting is really...

    Movie plot

Gary Conlon ( Daniel Day Lewis ) lives in the war-torn Northern Ireland, when the Northern Irish Republican Army was committed to opposing British colonial rule. The young Gary Kanglun is a little thief who knows nothing about the heights of the world. He has nothing to do with the dog. He only knows that he is drunk and has inadvertently offended the local government.
When Gary angered the Northern Irish Republican Army, his father...

    Evaluation action

The soundtrack of the film is co-starred by Bono, Gavin Friday, and Maurice Seezer, the lead singers of the Irish music talent U2 band. The ending theme song of the film is performed by the passionate bald female singer Sinead O'Connor from Ireland. Her incomparable voice seems to pierce people's hearts, like ocean waves, which are moving away and near, shocking the heart and lungs.  (Timeline Review)

    Movie quotes

    • [Speaking to people outside the court]

Gerry Conlon: I'm an innocent man. I spent 15 years in prison for something I didn't do. I watched my father die in a British prison for something he didn't do. And this government still says he's guilty. I want to tell them that until my father is proved innocent, until all the people involved in this case are proved innocent, until the guilty ones are brought to justice, I will fight on. In the name of my father and of the truth!

    • [On the alibi for Gerry Conlon and Paul Hill]

Appeal Prosecutor: My Lord, this is new evidence.

Appeal Judge: It is shocking new evidence.

Appeal Prosecutor: My lord, this evidence was not submitted at the trial that is under appeal.

Appeal Judge: That, I believe, is the point that Mrs Pierce is trying to make. Proceed, Mrs Pierce.

    • [after hearing of his father's death]

Gareth Peirce: [With tears in her eyes] Well, I think they ought to take the word 'compassion' out of the English dictionary.
