      Inorganic salts remaining after death

Actually this movie is really good.

The heroine recently starred in Castle Rock, and it feels good to think back to the movie.

It's not that kind of big production, it's not a bottle drama, it feels like it's intentional, and it has a lovely bravado.

It is very literary, not the kind of so-called forceful literature and art, but a literature and art that seriously talks about things and feelings. A bit of dark humor, the kind of humor with a knowing smile.

      I also...

      The title is long enough

      1. The title of the film is really long... It's just four words when translated into Chinese... The heroine's baby voice is matched with the picture, which is so inconsistent. 2. The dwarf of the male lead is still alive in the end? How good would it be to bury him in the forest... 3. At the beginning and end of the film, the car with two pipes smoking in front of the heroine's car always feels like it is...

"Female Man" and "Living Lei Feng"

It seems that no one has written a movie review, so I will make one first.

The film tells the story of a doctor's assistant in a nursing home who found that her home was stolen and called for help from the police. After finding that the police didn't ask, she simply went out and went to find the thief who stole things. All the results were somewhat unexpected to her.

The story is very simple, the process is very coincidental, and the ending is bloody.

      For...

The title and ending are worth thinking about

The director of the film's debut, Macon Blair, is the leading actor in Cannes' "Blue Ruins" two years ago, so it's no wonder that the two films have a similar gloomy tone and unpredictable plot direction. The last moment was a silly comedy routine that made people laugh at it, but in a blink of an eye it fell into a bloody and violent display scene, and even an abrupt mix of the two elements (for example, the heroine couldn't help but vomit when she saw the rich man's hand was cut off by a gun)...

Several violent scenes are very classic, I especially like the ninja dart that stabs the face, but the theme of the film is quite vague, it is difficult to tell what story it tells, but maybe this is...

The first half of the film is in line with everyone's imagination of a "literary and artistic film". The silence and depressing "mourning" and abrupt black humor make the film seem to be telling ordinary people's daily stories. However, the painting style changed abruptly in the second half, and it became a black humor crime film like "Two Smoking Guns". The film does not simply rely on black humor and absurd stories to win. The film...

    Movie quotes

    • Marshall: [after seeing Ruth non-stop vomiting during the shootout] Stop doing that!

    • Ruth: I mean, why... why you don't want to help me?

      Detective William Bendix: Help you?

Ruth: Yeah... I just why? Isn't that your job?

      Detective William Bendix: My job?

      Ruth: Yeah.

Detective William Bendix: I am doing my job. You're asking me about my job, right now.

Ruth: Yeah, I'm coming in here...

Detective William Bendix: You come to my work place...

      Ruth: I have evidence here...

Detective William Bendix: ...and you ask me about my job. Just because you left your door wide open for some punk to stroll right in, you think the universe revolves around you. Well grow up! We have a man beaten unconcious in his drive way.

      Ruth: That's awful.

Detective William Bendix: Now, yes, awful. And now, now Ruth, he has skull fragments in his brain. The world is bigger than your silverware. People are experiencing bigger problems! There are people out there

      [pausing because he's almost crying]

Detective William Bendix: I'm... I'm being divorced. First time I said it out loud.

      Ruth: Sir, I'm very...

Detective William Bendix: Uh-uh, move it, move your hand. Go home, Ruth.

    • Meredith Rumack: You know, TMI... but Chris always made me kind of nervous even before all that. Did you ever see The Omen? That little kid? You never know. He would just throw you down the stairs.
