"Green Hills and Green Valley" is a feature film directed by John Ford and starring Walter Pidgeon and Marlene O'Hara. It was released in the United States on October 28, 1941. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by the British novelist Richard Leherin. It tells the story of the conflict between two generations of Morgan's family caused by the labor movement. In 1942, the film won the 14th Oscar for Best Picture Award.
