Find the way to the truth

A good story needs an environment, such as a foreign country, isolation, disappointment, heartbreak, life embarrassment... all are windows that can open a world. That's what this film is.
It started with Winslet dreaming that her daughter was lost in the crowd, shouting her name, crying, and she woke up. Perhaps, the person who is truly lost in this foreign land is herself.

There are many metaphors in the film. The two lovely daughters are actually the epitome of her own inner...

      Single Mom "On the Road"

I googled the Sufi teaching on the Internet, but I didn't understand anything. It is only said that it is a permanent fraternity group of the Sufism of Islam. The name is a translation of the Arabic "Tollegai", which originally means "road", "way", "way".
There is no clear positive explanation for why julia pursued Sufism in the film and it does not need to be taken too seriously. Originally, it was just a pretense, just like the big mouth Zhu in "Food, Prayer and Love" went...

      three-haired woman

      No fixed job,

      no fixed residence,

      no fixed life style

      , no fixed scenery,

      no fixed tomorrow...

Would you like to live such a life?

Or, rather, ask - do you dare?

      I can not.

I am afraid of too much uncertainty.

Life needs some excitement, some freshness, some uncertainty

, and if it's been like this,

I don't have the strong heart to bear

it. That's why we live our whole...

When the British went down the road of revolution

Recently, I happened to watch a few movies with similar themes, the American movie "Revolutionary Road", "Tuscan Sun", "Rice, Prayer, Love" and the British movie "North African Lover". "Revolutionary Road" tells the story of the American housewives who were struggling with the revolution, and eventually perished with the revolutionary consciousness. "Bright Sun in Tuscany" and "Rice, Pray, Love" are answers to the road of revolution. Pursue it, and you can get true happiness. However, the...

    • Julia: So, how was your first day at school?

Bea: Well, a little girl wet herself.

      Julia: [laughs] And?

Bea: The teacher took her to the front of the class

      [pause]

      Bea: and beat her

      [pause]

Bea: and beat her with a cane

      [pause]

Bea: until she stopped crying and than she beat her some more

      [pause]

Bea: and than the cane broke.

Julia: My God, you can't go back there.

Bea: Why not, of course I can.

[walks away, stops and turns around]

      Bea: Only joking!

    • Lucy: Mom, when can we have rice pudding again?

Julia: As soon as the check comes from your father.

      Bea: Sure, father Christmas!

    • Julia: London's cold, cold and sad. No camel, no Abdul's a jelliybean.

      Bea: No scorpions.
