      good and evil

Some people say: There is no right or wrong, but people are divided into good and evil. But what kind of people are good? What kind of people are evil? What are their boundaries?

Although McGovich in Great Expectations is a fugitive, but for Pip, who has a meal, he not only excused him before he was imprisoned, but also helped him enter the upper class six years later, and studied in London to become a gentleman. He was a fugitive, so in the eyes of many people he was a bad...

To believe that kindness will be rewarded, just as you can get love by investing in love!

Although this old movie is black and white, it seems to me that it respects the original book. The childhood Estella is very beautiful, and she is also the heroine Jane Simmons in the movie "Spartacus", which plays Pip. His good friend is the arrogant and rigid officer in "The Bridge on the River Kwai", a typical example of dogmatism.

The novel "Great Expectations" has been read a long time ago, except that it seems to be a story about...

      Great Expectations, 1946 edition

In the past two days, I watched the movie "Great Expectations" based on Dickens' novel of the same name. I checked the Internet and found that nine of the famous novels have been adapted into movies, and there are even Indian and Australian ones. I found six here, and one of them was in English, so I couldn't read it. So it took two days to read Dickens's original work again, and then read the remaining five books in turn.

The story takes place in the...

      early epics by david lean

The more David Lean films are watched, the more interesting the director becomes. That is being able to bend and stretch. Although he is known for grand epics like Lawrence of Arabia, I prefer his "smaller" films. Especially seeing each other late, I think it is one of the greatest romance films I have ever seen. While Great Expectations doesn't quite reach the heights of seeing each other late, the film is also extremely entertaining and elegant, and it's worth watching....

"Great Expectations" 46th edition says one more sentence

      The beautiful
boy chosen by the girl is too handsome, and there is a slight difference between the influence in the brain and the

adult male protagonist. The face is so old and unrecognizable.

Actually watching this movie, it is similar to the previous two, and I didn't have any intentions. Check the post bar while playing. When it comes to casting roles for movies adapted from literary masterpieces, it is not/is not the character endowed by the movie, but the character...

7 points. The second of the trilogy of English literature, Dickens' brutal class education and the acquisition of love, is almost discounted in Lean's adaptation. The beauty is the introduction of the characters' appearances by quickly flipping the opening pages, as well as the careful composition and beautiful mirror rotation of multiple photography. The dialogue benefits from the original, which is very subtle. Regrets: 1. The casting of the adult protagonist is too mature, and the age...

Every time I read something like this, I feel that the original must have been beautifully written. The video I downloaded was so broken that it made the film from the 1940s look more retro. The hero is too...

    Movie plot

The young Pip lost his parents and lived on his sister and blacksmith brother-in-law. In the isolated English countryside, Pip received only rough discipline. Two inmates near the prison escaped, and Pip offered food to one of them out of kindness. Although the prisoner was quickly brought to justice, he did not forget to excuse Pip before entering prison. Soon, Miss Havison in the nearby mansion called Pip to serve her. The Pip family...

    Evaluation action

Compared with David Lean's later films, the film is more compact, faithfully and vividly presenting the British society at that time. A little, but the overall quality of the film is very high   . (Time Net Review)
The film faithfully reproduces the themes and characters of the original work. It sings praises for the simplicity and loyalty of laborers, lashes out at the selfishness and ruthlessness of the rich, and expresses the...
