where are the gods and generals of china
A test of 3 hours and 40 minutes..
I think the plot is a little slow, maybe because
the Americans with beards who are not familiar with the history of the United States look the same
, but think the film is pretty good.
There are no good or bad people on both sides of the battle. .they
are just for their beliefs..for the beliefs of liberty
when the two Irish brigades are fighting each other..the bagpipes sound..it
is ironic...

Beyond the winners and losers-Impressions of "Gods and Generals"
Watching a nearly four-hour movie requires more physical strength and patience. Therefore, a movie of this length is often difficult to succeed, because it is likely that the audience will be tired before the climax of the movie. I don’t know if it’s because of this. The feature-length "Gods and Generals" seems to have been ignored. Perhaps because everyone heard about its four-hour length, they were intimidated. Its score on IMDB is 5.8, with a total score of 10, which is a failing score....

Wildflowers on the grassland where witnessed the death of the gods
I bought a tape of world-famous speeches when I was young. The most impressive one is the speech delivered by President Lincoln at the Gettysburg Battlefield Cemetery during the American Civil War. It has become a classic paragraph in American English. From then on, I remembered "Gettysburg" and I also knew that it was a battle at the turning point of the American Civil War. The North began to defeat the South.
A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to buy a four-hour-long disc...

I admit that when I saw it for the first time, I was completely out of shape, and I gave up halfway without even having time to recognize it. After watching it again, I think it's really the top grade in the war movie. At least this is the first time I can make such a detailed film of the army's battle of positions in the nineteenth century. How to change the formation on the fly, how to move forward step by step in the rain of bullets (instead of the short and monotonous charging shots that...

Why are we here to interfere with your freedom?
The trilogy of the American Civil War is the first in chronological order. It covers the war before the Battle of Gettysburg, and particularly describes the legendary Southern Army General Stonewall Jackson in detail.
The legendary Colonel Chamberlain of the Northern Army explained the question of the Southern Soldier: Why can't we keep the well water from the river? Why can't we live freely? We must defend our rights. Chamberlain puts it this way: Social systems that claim to protect...

Looking back on the past ten years, it was a decade of constant reflection on myself. The world is so big that I can't imagine it. Putting it ten years ago, it is difficult for me to understand that there are a group of people in the history of the...

100 years ago there was that kind of state in the civil war. 100 years later, I can talk about the civil war with this attitude. I have nothing to say except...
[the Confederate officers are watching a performance by a group of Texans]
Col. Tazewell Patton: General Hood, we owe you Texas boys a debt of gratitude for putting on these shows for us.
General John Bell Hood: Colonel Patton, any man that can't carry a tune ain't fit to carry a musket.
[during the Battle of Bull Run]
Confederate private: General, the battle is going against us!
Gen. 'Stonewall' Jackson: If you think so, sir; you had better not say anything about it.
Sgt. Buster Kilrain: [using a dead Union soldier for cover]
Sgt. Buster Kilrain: Oh, Patrick... I hope you don't mind. I know you're in heaven, but you've still got plenty of work to do down here in this cold, pitiless world.
