      because of the novel

If it wasn't for the novel adaptation, maybe I would have given it 4 stars. Real historical events and heart-wrenching plots are the biggest selling points of such films.
But the truth is, it wasn't the screenwriter's original. After reading the book "Sarah's Keys", I will feel that the idea expressed by this film is a little weak. It just visualizes the text.
But I have to admit, there are a few beautiful shots. When Sarah and her little friends got out of the iron fence and...

      spoiler

The storyline is actually quite simple. Two narrative lines, 1. In 1942, France persecuted Jews. A little girl under twelve locked her three-year-old brother in a closet to protect her brother before being sent to a concentration camp, thinking she would be able to go home soon. When she realized that she might never be able to go home again, she tried her best to escape from the concentration camp. After a long journey back to Paris, she found her brother's body decomposed in the closet....

      It doesn't just put?

As long as it is a story about the Jewish nation, it must be miserable and make me resent racial discrimination. This kind of behavior that does not understand individuals and makes generalizations, whether it is regional, ethnic or gender, makes me feel superficial. Sarah is right. She wants her brother to be good. She knows that the road ahead is unknown. As a little adult, she has done what she should do. A mother who wants to protect her child in the chaos is not as calm as a child, and...

For a memory not to be forgotten

About the Jews, the Jewish nation, there are too many languages in this world to tell their stories. A long history, a legend. And because of the madness and cruelty of World War II, it took on the epic tragic, thick and viscous color of blood. The world has judged them so much that they suddenly feel that they lack their intuitive knowledge and feeling of this nation. The ghosts of grievances wandering in the concentration camps always make me feel sympathetic and sympathetic at...

      Sarah's lifelong pursuit

Using the life of a woman Sarah as the main line, depicting the cruelty of the Nazis during World War II to the modern experience, spanning two different time and space, Julia's father met at the beginning of Sarah's collapse, while Julia and Sarah's son Meet again when all is gone and forgotten. All the characters and even the audience seem to be able to meet, meet and cherish Sarah.

After Sarah was taken away by the police in that room, her life began to change dramatically....

While telling the history, the persistent female reporters in reality are inserted into the follow-up stories. There are some flaws in the editing of each clip. The first hour or more is quite good, and it has a great sense of substitution for the tragic history of the Jews. The director chose to unravel a dusty and tragic past in a realistic way, which makes the film's rendering and shocking feel...

The first set of dramas in my return to Hong Kong is "The Heart Locks of the World", which is better than the "Scorched Earth City" with the same technique. The casting is really powerful, and even the supporting roles are shining brightly. Pretty good, but the motives of the heroines in the modern passage are still open to...

The filming of the first part is very good. The eyes of the little girl and the weight of history itself can easily capture people's hearts. Unfortunately, the plot and ending of the second half hour are slightly weak. But for every Chinese, "skip the data and focus on every living example", is a short sentence enough to...

    Movie plot

The story is based on the real "winter stadium incident" during World War II. This tragedy of the Vichy government's help is a past that the French chose to silence and forget. On July 16 and 17, 1942, the Paris police were ordered by the Nazis and arrested tens of thousands of Jews, including thousands of children. They were first concentrated in the winter bicycle racing stadium, and then sent to Auschwitz in batches. , Died in the...

    • Julia Jarmond: And so I write this for you, My Sarah. With the hope that one day, when you're old enough, this story that lives with me, will live with you as well. When a story is told, it is not forgotten. It becomes something else, a memory of who we were; the hope of what we can become.
