How many dimensions do you have
This is the third biographical video of a singer I've watched. Because of the relationship between learning Salsa, the teacher mentioned this Cantante of cantantelos (singer of all singers) in the podcast. Said that J Lo and Mark Anthony co-starred in a biographical film about him. So I was curious to look for it, and I felt that it should help improve my enthusiasm for learning.
In general, this film presents Hector Lavoe's life in the form of a flashback, but it is different from the...

I searched for a movie about salsa on Baidu and watched this movie.
In several salsa movies, this dance scene is the least, but the atmosphere is the closest to the sexy taste of salsa.
Puerto Rico, immigration, drugs, short skirts, hot dance, sex, love, fame, dollars. The more intoxicated, the more passionate it is.
People who dance salsa will be obsessed with the state of muscle movement and limbs, sweating and dizzy, such as the beautiful foreplay before the climax, so we know...

Gossip is not as bad as the director's injury
The first highlight of the film is the performance of Jennifer and his wife, and the second highlight is the biography of the legendary singer Hector, but the directing skills throughout the film are even more impressive. The endless interlacing of time and space, the same period, the different period, the black and white films are intertwined, the subtitles and scenes are superimposed. After the film is halfway through, it becomes a kind of flaw for the viewers.
This is a movie that...

As a clue character, JLo's performance is remarkable. But as a biopic of Héctor Lavoe, his wife Puchi's role is really...

That's how salsa came from, and J.LO still has some acting...

The greatest value of this movie is that it is based on real events... But the life of the protagonists is really incomprehensible. Watching this movie for 2 hours feels very tormenting and a waste of my time. The protagonist can live like this for most of his life. Often in the hallucinations after taking drugs, how much time in a lifetime can I feel...

I don't like reading...
Puchi: Hector never knew how much people loved him. And that's the thing. It's like he didn't want to know.
Puchi: What's the first thing you're gonna do?
Hector Lavoe: What?
Puchi: When you're famous, silly.
Hector Lavoe: Why are you so sure that I'm gonna be famous?
Puchi: Because I know these things, that's why.
Priscilla: [referring to Puerto Rico] Where were you raised on the island?
Puchi: Oh, um, no. THIS island.
Priscilla: Here?
Puchi: Right here. I don't even remember what a palm tree looks like.
Hector Lavoe: It doesn't matter where she was raised, cause she got me now. Palm trees, beaches, pork hash, in person. It's like Berlitz dining.
Puchi: Maybe, uh, one day I'll get back to Puerto Rico. I get there.
Hector Lavoe: What did I say? You're there. Next, you meet my father. He thinks he owns the island.
Priscilla: We're from Ponce. All of our family still lives there. Hector and I are the only ones here. The only ones left. So, how long have you guys known each other?
Puchi: Oh, days.
Hector Lavoe: But it's destiny.
[Smiles at Puchi]
Priscilla: [In Spanish] And your family? They live here?
Puchi: Mm-hmm.
Priscilla: Oh, I forgot. You don't speak Spanish.
Puchi: No, I do. I do speak...
Priscilla: Well, what does your family do?
Puchi: [In an irriatated tone] Sell dope. Yeah. Why, are you with the FBI or something? Because we should get that out of the way right now. What are you...? You know what, Hector? I came here to eat, not to be grilled.
