Taking "Antarctic Adventure" as an example: Analysis of three expressive techniques and practical applications of montage

      Text | Miss Meow

What is the relationship between dogs and humans? When I watched Hachiko, the loyal dog, I burst into tears as Hachiko waited for the return of the master who passed away. When I watched Togo, I was moved by the 425-kilometer race between the elderly Togo and his master to deliver the vaccine to the god of death.

Darwin once said: "The love of man has become a dog's instinct, almost beyond...

Ultimate thinking - how to treat life

After watching "Antarctic Adventure", I learned that the idea for the film came from a real event. In February 1957, the Japanese Antarctic observation ship "Songya" embarked on a trip to the South Pole, accompanied by 15 Katarina dogs. However, the "Songya" encountered a blizzard that was once in a century, and the expedition was forced to stop. At that time, they left fifteen dogs behind, but they were unable to rescue the fifteen dogs due to the rapid deterioration of the...

      handsome eight dogs

Antarctic Adventure: I didn't expect the protagonist to be eight dogs, surviving in the wild in the Antarctic wind and snow. Humans are only supporting roles in this film. The eight dogs took the risk and rescued the Doctor. The Doctor returned with his discoveries and won wealth and fame. Except for their owners, everyone was about to forget about the eight children who once lived with them and brought them happiness. Only. With the owner's perseverance and the awakening...

I really can't get tired of watching movies about animals

When faced with difficulties, do you abandon the animal companions that are closely related to your life? Probably many people will choose to protect themselves! In this movie, I saw the helplessness that the owner left behind at the beginning and never gave up searching, and also saw the self-rescue of the dogs. They are brave, smart, cooperative, help each other, share food, and never give up no matter how bad the conditions are. When the camera only has animal pictures, there are no human...

Everything has a spirit, especially the most loyal dog to us humans

Some people strongly recommend that you must watch a movie related to dogs, called "Minus Octave". Later I found out that it was about a movie starring "Paul Walker", not only because the male lead attracted me, but also because it was a movie about the three idiots on the sleigh that I love, so I downloaded it with all my heart. Watching, although the plot is not that complicated, but in the process of watching the movie, I still feel very...

Disney's works are full of love. The highlight of this one is not only the emotions between humans and animals, but also the mutual help between dogs. Watching Paul's film now, I really feel that it's so sad that he's...

    Behind the scenes gags

The names of Dewey and Truman come from the candidates Thomas Edmund Dewey and Harry S. Truman who participated in the US presidential election in 1948 .
The scary seal is fake. The team of Stan Winston , winner of the Academy Award for Stunt Art , was invited to produce tenacious animated model seals for sled dogs and seal battle scenes. Frank Wilton Marshall once co-wrote " Jurassic Park " with Winston . After the animated model seal...

    Shooting process

Shooting in Smeiser Town will not be as difficult as shooting in Antarctica, but it is also very difficult. Because the weather there will change drastically within 10 minutes, the film crew must prepare to shoot 3 different scenes every day so that they can shoot any of them randomly according to the weather conditions. The camera crew had to shoot in a cold and humid snowy day. Not only did they not let snow fall on the lens, but...

    Dog training

The training venue was originally in the State of California . Three months before the filming started, in order to adapt to the cold and icy environment, they and more than 20 trainers moved to a snow-covered rural farm near the town of Smeiser. The initial training involves expressing emotions, such as barking and barking, as well as many head movements. As the training deepened, the sled dogs began to conduct skills training....

    Cookie-cutter surprise

The plot and structure of the film are not very good, especially the characters. The tricks are clichés-love with a little twists and turns, the supporting role of gag, the psychological changes of key characters at critical moments, so that the story will be dark, and it may not be complete. Satisfactory but the tone must be the ending of the comedy. The well-trained sled dogs in the film saved the movie that should have fallen into a...
