The prerequisites for being a good teacher
1. Good working environment: a spacious office with floor-to-ceiling windows
2. Inspirational pacemaker: wine, you can display it or hide it behind a book. After drinking it, the six relatives will not recognize it.
3. Dress freely: It’s not a problem to be depressed every day. As long as you have a party, you must immediately wear a suit and tuxedo on the second floor of the bungalow.
4. Self-confidence: The school leaders can’t provoke me, they will not be fired, at most...

Analysis of the film by The Promise of Happiness
This is a film about education as self-transformation, Susan, a working-class girl, becomes Rita (she takes the name from Rita Mae Brown, author of the book Rubyfruit Jungle, which I discuss in chapter 3), through a process of being educated in literature. The narrative dramatizes how becoming civil is not simply about learning to read the right books or learning to appreciate the right objects but is about developing a different relationship to those objects. So in the first instance Rita...

I don't know why I was so depressed after watching this movie. Although the open ending is not sad, it is definitely not happy. None of the questions in the film have been answered at the end, and I don't even think this is an inspirational film. It is said that this film was adapted from a stage play. I think the audience in the UK is very strong. Such a slow-paced humanist theme, let alone a stage play, even if it is a movie, it will definitely not sell in China.
The film starts out as a...

A good teacher can change a person's life. It is my luck to meet you.
Sitting in front of the TV and flipping through the stage at will, to see what good movies are there, I saw the English name "Educating Rita" of "Ordinary Women". In the film, Rita is bored and has no direction in her current life, so she decides to go to school to study literature and find her true self to enrich herself. She is actually a confused woman, unwilling to give birth to a child and godchild beside...

go sing a better song , a better song of your own
I have heard about the movie "Education Rita" for a long time, but I have been suffering from the lack of Chinese subtitles, and I have never watched the movie on the computer. After watching the movie, I couldn't calm down for a long time. What I remember most in the film is the better song and now I have more chances. For Rita, she used to be an ordinary housewife who was urged by her family to have a child all day long. Now, with the guidance and help of her tutor, she successfully passed...

It's really not as good as the original, because I fill my imagination with scenes and characters that are not in the play, and minimize the interaction and dialogue between them. The most exciting thing is that they tell each other about their lives and opinions. Really faded a...

Frank: Are you sure you want to enter the literary pit? You are doing fine now! Rita: I'm a person who doesn't hit the south wall and doesn't look back! We must be firm! Frank: Good. . . (a bottle of ton ton ton tons of whiskey) Trish: Loneliness is horrible, I want to die, and music and poetry can't save me. Susan: ? ? ! ! I'll go and I'll believe it! Not only did some people divorce for literature, but some committed suicide! Now I have something and nothing. . I have to make a decision, I,...

[first words to Rita as she opens the door of her flat]
Trish: Wouldn't you just *die* without Mahler?
[Rita is being nosy about Frank's marriage]
Dr. Frank Bryant: We split up, Rita, because of poetry.
Rita: You what?
Dr. Frank Bryant: One day, my wife explained to me that, for the past fifteen years, my output as a poet had dealt entirely with the part of our lives in which we discovered each other.
Rita: Are you a poet?
Dr. Frank Bryant: Was. And so, to give me something new to write about, she left me. A very noble woman, my wife - she left me for the good of literature. And remarkably it worked.
Rita: What, you wrote a lot of good stuff, did ya?
Dr. Frank Bryant: No. I stopped writing altogether.
[Trish has just tried to kill herself; Rita goes to visit her in hospital]
Rita: Why?
Trish: Darling, why not?
Rita: Oh, Trish, don't. Come on, it's all right, don't cry. You're still here.
Trish: That's why I'm crying - it didn't work. It didn't bloody work.
Rita: Trish. Look, you didn't really mean to kill yourself. You were just...
Trish: Just what, darling? Poor Susan. You think you've got everything, don't you?
Rita: Trish, you have.
Trish: Oh yes. When I listen to poetry and music, then I can live. You see, darling, the rest of the time it's just me. And that's not enough.
