This is a commercial film at all!

Although it incorporates many hot topics such as illegal immigration, suburban youth, cultural differences and so on. Therefore, it is normal to constantly feel the pleasure brought by the ups and downs of the plot during the viewing process. However, the last gang fight has drawn on the fine style of Hollywood type films. This is the most disappointing part of many Jacques Audiard works. It even won the Palme d'Or last year as a dark horse. It is inseparable from the Coen brothers, the...

      How precious is life

Why life is precious. If it is discovered that there is life on Mars, not to mention that this life is human. What does life on Mars mean? That's right, many problems in the world don't have to be thought about by us personally. European refugees lose their lives every day on the way to war and escape.
But thinking is something you can do before you die.
In the complex world of practicality and aesthetics, material and spiritual that we have constructed, it seems that any place can...

      Wandering Dheepan, 2015

In 2009, the LTTE's last firefight between the Tamil Tigers and the Sri Lankan government, LTTE soldier Yeshisa, or "Deepan", narrowly escaped. By chance, Dupin met refugees Yarini and Ilaya, who had never met before, and formed a "family" that was unrelated and only passed the immigration examination. In a panic, they embarked on a journey to mainland France. Although the road ahead is confused, they know that no matter how bad the unknown France is, it is still thousands of times better than...

      Wishful thinking and European heroism

The wandering Dupin, the new Palme d'Or. In the context of the continuous fermentation of the Syrian refugee incident last year, it is difficult not to win the award. I was firmly grasped by the terrified eyes in the trailer, and I thought to myself that as the largest refugee receiving country in Europe, this story about acceptance and integration should be inseparable from the French absurdity and warmth.

It is true that the story begins with a shocking genocide and develops towards...

      Wandering Dipin

Over the past decade, Jacques Audiard has risen to become one of the most well-known and best French directors of his generation. In 2001, he gained international attention with "Lip Talk", and in 2005, he filmed the remarkable "The Rhythm of My Heart Forgotten". But it was the 2009 prison epic "The Prophet" that really made him world-famous, which was not only nominated for an Oscar, but also won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

      2012's Rust and Bone still...

For a long time, I always thought that this piece was called Wandering Pandy. . . . . The impressions of several transitions are good, and they hit on the hot and difficult issues of migrants and refugees that are becoming more and more prominent in Europe, and play a certain role in obtaining the Palme...

In fact, it speaks of a kind of alienation through refugees and gangs. From a personal psychological point of view, this is a "family of three" that is separated between the physiological layer and the safety layer. I like the complex mentality of the "fake couple" when they chat, which is an externality of the same language. This is the ending, you can cut it...

Fleeing the homeland of the war, but not escaping the war. There is war in my heart, there are battlefields everywhere, the past that cannot be returned, the family that cannot be returned. The film is very simple, but it is permeated with condemnation of war and hopelessness of...

    Evaluation action

The film speaks to a stark, grim reality, but it also presents a poetic, fluid spirituality. The film has no complicated plot, no violent emotions, and no many well-known actors. Instead, it is a fascinating story that allows the audience to enter the film and experience the limited French protagonist, in a state of ignorance and chaos. The film begins with death and ends with hope, and the process in between is deeply moving. The...
