"Conan the Barbarian" is an adventure film directed by John Frederick Milius and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger , James Earl Boggins Jones and Sandy . It was released in the UK on April 2, 1982.

Based on the novel of the same name by Robert Owen Howard, the film tells a fictional prehistoric world full of dark magic and barbarism, and a legendary adventure in which a man named Conan avenged his tragic death of his parents.
