      Clerks--The Most Absurd Black Humor

It didn't have the shock of the first time I saw it, the naive shooting skills and narrative, and the casual preaching mixed with the slurs throughout the article. On the whole, it is talking about absurd black humor, and the movie is placed in it, and the meaning is not very deep. In fact, from the point of view of the election, my own views and opinions are not important anymore. What is important is...

      Dante in hell

Dante is an ordinary slack worker with a dead-end job in the grocery store. Dante also has a good friend Randall for company. On an ordinary working day, the two silently experience life's problems: how to squeeze in a hockey game in their 9-to-5 job; how to tell if your girlfriend has had too many blowjobs; How to maintain a relationship when your ex is about to get married.

The filming of "Crazy Clerk" was financed by credit cards and the sale of rare comic books, and the filming...

      notes

      1. The labor issue on the Death Star, never thought of that! This reminds me of some short clips that count how many innocent passersby have been killed by superheroes

      2. A few tips for saving money from directors:

      a. Black-and-white film, saves money on set and post-grading hh (Nolan's debut film "Follow" is also a black-and-white film)

      b. Fixed camera dialogue

      c. Animations on complex plots! (A movie with an animation inserted in several other films:...

Creating Your Own "Tragic Hero": Despite All Dissatisfaction, It's Easier to Stay "I Am Now"

      4.5 stars.

Dante's predecessor and I are both face-blind. The film talks about a point that I have frequently touched recently, and one of Adler’s points: your misery is all your own creation, in order to maintain your own uniqueness, and then enjoy some of the comfort that misfortune brings. The male protagonist is such a typical example, but the base friend is very powerful. As expected of someone who has watched a lot of "good movies", he said in one sentence "Who closed the store...

      Can't write short reviews

      i like freaks.

God sticks, weirdos, never embarrassing jokers, funny people, mystics, reasonable bastards,,, the scarcity of people in society always attracts us, at least me .

and thats randal. However, the movie tells a story that can no longer be daily, does it mean that our daily life is not worse than dante's day, but more boring? Maybe we all lack a randal friend. This may be my strange angle to watch this movie.

A guy who looks at his best friend's...

    Tidbits

The film is the directorial debut of Kevin Smith.
The convenience store in the film, where director Kevin Smith worked for 4 years.
Because the shooting cost was only $27,575, the film could only be made into a roughly edited black and white film. In order to raise funds, Kevin Smith had to reluctantly cut his love, sold most of his comic books for many years, and overdrafted several credit cards with a limit of $2,000. In addition, he...

    Background creation

The filming took 21 days. A Quick Stop convenience store where Kevin Smith once worked served as the main filming location for the film. Since the filming can only be done during the closing period (10:30pm to 5:30am) , so Smith had to add in the joke of someone stuffing gum into the keyhole and closing the blinds, otherwise the dark daytime scene outside the window would definitely be puzzling. Because of the need to work and filming,...

    Evaluation action

"Crazy Clerk" is an amazing comedy. The vitality, unscrupulousness, and contempt for the Hollywood model in the film make it an undoubted classic. The rough, bold and casual style of the black-and-white images and the film is a perfect match, and they complement each other perfectly. Unintentionally, this film became a benchmark for the rise of independent films in the 1990s. It can be said that it is under the inspiration of this film...

Randal Graves: All right, but you're missing out. Chicks with dicks!

    • [Randall is watching hermaphroditic porn]

Caitlin Bree: What are you watching?

      Randal Graves: Children's programming.

    • Randal Graves: You're so repressed.
