      Survived by myself

The atmosphere felt weird from the first minute, the humanoid cat monster is really a horror movie, I have a question mark when I wear sneakers, and there are r-rated shots like scratching my crotch... But the most disturbing thing is Rebel Wilson's cat skin, The picture is haunted for a lifetime...the humanoid cockroach is even more...I don't want to think about it again!

Although, Robbie as Munkustrap can still make me want to watch it again, the power of...

The adaptation of the Broadway drama "Cat" hits the street, maybe we simply don't like animals like people

One of the 20th century's greatest musical composers, Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on one of the 20th century's greatest poets, T.S. Eliot's poems, broke the stage play on Broadway, New York, USA. The longest and most frequently recorded musical "Cat" was adapted into a movie by Universal Pictures with US$100 million. However, a movie with such a strong IP went viral.

      [Film Review] Cats (2019) 5.4/10

A live action cinematic rendering of Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical CATS finally becomes feasible in our CGI-advanced era, and taking the directorial chair is one Tom Hooper (whose renown has been continuously diminishing after fortuitously nabbing the top honor in the Oscar game with THE KING'S SPEECH, 2010), his second musical adaptation after LES MISERABLES (2012).

Stop insulting the classics! ! !

From the trailer to the feature film, from the soundtrack to the plot of the song, all three views are completely destroyed. Couldn't bear to see even a minute.

Maybe the original book has no plot, but the movie is not allowed to be turned into such a mess, right?

Isn't this musical a classic because of those costumed and iconic junkyards? The junkyard has been removed, the disguise has been removed, and the music is still not good. Why do you think others will buy it? ?...

Perhaps, the director is not a cat lover at all?

      Due to the special place in my heart of the musical "Cat" for more than ten years, I went to see the movie version of which it was said to have received bad reviews;

In order to save my old feelings, and also because of the self-cultivation of a musical audience, I turned out the 98 classic stage version and watched most of it, combined with yesterday's movie viewing impression, and let me complain one by one (the following content contains spoilers, but The plot of the play is never...

I'm going to give zero stars! Pompeii eruption-level catastrophe CG. The collective feeling of nibbling a huge amount of catnip. Tom Hooper's perception of beauty should not only collapse, but the opposite of ordinary people. Magically uncomfortable. His love of urination in crazy close-ups magnifies and magnifies this weirdness. He never gave up any opportunity to get the camera close to the nose hair of the actors, but he forgot that dancing should be the biggest selling point of this film....

After watching the movie, the cat people eat cockroaches and the people are disgusting. I can't drink Coke... The song is nice, but it sounds good, but it really caused me physical...

As far as the movie itself is concerned, even a fan of my aunt thinks that Cats is the 130 ME in Swift's acting career than Speak Now! works, I declare that farts are no longer at the...

Although the plot of the original musical is weak, it is mainly music and dance. However, the film version did not adapt the plot, but just reproduced the dances on the stage in groups, dull and patchy. Only the part of eating cockroaches uses Busby Berkeley-style kaleidoscope dance (de-staged movie expression) to express, but humanoid cat eating humanoid cockroach is really disgusting. The only person in the whole film who can be seen is Jennifer...

Looking at the whole film, it is actually just copying the original plot and songs. The director didn't think about many issues, why can the original version become a classic in the history of musicals? A spotlighted stage dream is essential. The original exaggerated make-up costumes and dramatic dance scenes are true and colorful. In the movie, it is the human body shape plus part of the cat's structure. All the performances forget to play the cat in pursuit of dance. Just looking at the music...

    Evaluation action

The movie "Cats" has become another classic case of the Horror Valley theory, which is directly related to the creator's failure of the audience's psychological prediction. The most important of these is the extension of the screen that takes for granted the success of the stage version. Since the image of people playing Cats on stage can be successful, moving to the screen can definitely be successful. However, it is obvious that the...
