Buried--The Story of a Man who Escaped from the Coffin

This film tells us how important it is to have a mobile phone with a long standby time and how important it is to learn the five thunderclaps that can break the coffin. Never before have so few actors shocked so many audiences with such poor props in such a small space. Godard said, "A film only needs a girl and a gun." Cortez can also make a good film with a man and a coffin. It's called extreme sports in movies. Businesses are evil, countries are unreliable, and human lives are...

Buried--How to Save Yourself in a Coffin?

Too cruel, too depressing, too desperate. The name of the movie "Buried" in English means "buried alive", so I had to transliterate it and hang it here. Throughout the film, only a man named Paul, instead of Reid, is imprisoned in a coffin in the desert. His main objects were a lighter, a mobile phone, a flashlight with poor contact and two light sticks, right. There is also a...

      Low-cost deep-dive good film

It is no exaggeration to say that this is the film with the least amount of actors and the lowest cost I have ever seen. An actor, a coffin, a mobile phone, a small pot of wine, a lighter, a pen, etc. Poor tools. It turned out to be an impressive film. From a good script, a good actor.
The poor male protagonist, innocently kidnapped and locked in a coffin, tried his best to use a mobile phone to save himself. Helpless to the danger of the situation, the so-called rescue captain may have...

      Where are you?

A very experimental film. As the only moving space in the whole film, the coffin fully supports the film's 90-minute length, limited space, few props and the only visible actor. The film is only through such a simple element, for us A tense but ultimately unsuccessful escape is vividly presented.
The large number of phone calls in the first half of the film are a bit procrastinated, but the second half of the film gradually increases the visibility of the film with the increase of story...

You and I are going to die, no one has to try to escape

      [Situation]
The film reflects reality, a person's freedom is shackled, and then it keeps giving you hope, giving you despair, and giving you a little reward when you become the person they need, or give you a little reward, or put your original thought You'll be grateful if the shackles on you are released, even if they cut you down once.
Your personal strength is too small, and you have to look outside for help. At this time, you no longer have a part of people who need...

It is also a one-man show like the 127 hours I just watched before. It also relies entirely on creativity and stories to firmly nail the audience to the chair, but from the perspective of movie viewing, this is completely a one-man show. I haven’t seen such despair in a long time. The extreme movie has suppressed indignation for a long time. Maybe such a bad mood is the whole reason why I only give 4 stars. . ....

A man performing a whole movie in a coffin, ah, and it's not boring but exciting, it's really a cow! PS: Some netizens commented how important it is to have a Chinese-made copycat super long standby king at this time, haha, I laughed so hard. PS2: Whoever TM asks me about the ending, I greet his...

It takes time to think about a space, a story, and a character to tell in 95 minutes. Although there are some common sense mistakes, such as keeping a lighter on for the sake of a picture or a good-looking point, no one knows how precious oxygen is in such a small enclosed space. But ignoring these, the story is at least not boring, there are twists and turns, family affection, love, stupid friends, incompetent government, bloodless personnel supervisor, inhuman gangster, I personally like this...

    Movie plot

Obviously, Paul Conroy ( Ryan Reynolds ) does not want to die yet. However, when he woke up 6 feet underground, and didn't know why he was here, including who arranged it, he realized that death was so close to him.
Originally, Paul was just an ordinary truck driver. He went to Iraq to be a contractor in order to make more money. Now he suddenly fell into a situation that he didn't even understand. Buried with Paul are cellphones,...

    Positive evaluation

This thriller is very exciting. In contrast, other films of the same type in recent years are like a dance of demons.  ("Chicago Tribune" review)
The continuous suspense and rare performance of this film make it very attractive to the audience.  (Review of "USA Today")
The film is not restricted by the sense of isolation. Instead, with its unique perspective, superb lens and detailed plot, it once again refreshed the box office miracle...

    Movie quotes

    • Jabir: American can breathe? No breathe?

Paul Conroy: No, I can't breathe. Please get me out of here.

      Jabir: Get out?

Paul Conroy: Yes, get me out. Please help.

      Jabir: Soldier.

Paul Conroy: No, no I'm not a soldier. I'm a truck driver. Just a contractor.

      Jabir: Contractor?

Paul Conroy: Yeah. A contractor. Not a soldier. I'm just a truck driver. That's all.

      Jabir: You are American?

      Paul Conroy: Yeah.

      Jabir: Then you are soldier.

    • [first lines]

      Paul Conroy: [screaming] Hey!

    • Jabir: You show blood, or they show blood.
