      nothing to do with brother

I saw the trailer and thought it would look good, but I was disappointed!
Perhaps it would be better for the director to focus on the love-hate relationship between brothers, rather than highlight the pain that terrorism in Afghanistan has caused to American soldiers and their families. In fact, there is not much about the relationship between brothers in the film, so that I don't even know how deep the relationship is between the two, because the director did not explain the story of the...

      hello dark side

OMG... I'm suffocated watching this movie...

Generally speaking, I don't have specific requirements for what type of movie to watch in my leisure time, but it's better not to be suffocated. Life is already hard, so why bother yourself when you should be entertaining. But there are exceptions. I watched the second half of The English Patient in Star Movies last night and Brothers today.

Seeing Izzy yell at Sam at the dinner table "Why can't you just die like that!", I looked...

      Let's Hug It Out!

Let’s talk about some impressive scenes: 1. During Tommy’s narration, I found that the background music was U2’s bad, and then the sister-in-law rejected the uncle…Tommy sat on the chair crying bitterly 2. Tommy and Elizabeth looked at the distant Maggie, when she reassured Elizabeth that she was like her heroic father, she asked if she looked like her mother? …Tommy : Accept yourself, Elizabeth, everyone loves you 3 Tommy and a few buddies remodel the kitchen, the one with the white paint says...

      Destroy

Another example how people can be destroyed by the War.

Didn't realize that Sam was Spider-Man. . . Probably from the soldier's hairstyle. Tobey Maguire's acting here is far beyond Spider-Man. His dinner table scene, and Jake Gyllenhaal's table shooting scene in the opening, is pretty poignant.

The plot handling is a bit bland, especially before Sam returns home, and one can't help but think it's an old Pearl Harbor-like story. Until Sam gets home, the plot begins to climax,...

      Simple story, lots of highlights

The director's intention is to use this story to express his dissatisfaction with the Iraq war? Or do you want to express the theme of war changing human nature? sam is a hero, while his younger brother tommy is a bastard who came back from prison, the reaction of his family (especially his father, who is probably also a generation affected by war) after tommy came home from prison, can be clearly seen Define a clear dividing line between two brothers - good and bad. But when the family got...

It's completely different from what I thought. I thought there would be a fragrant place. The rhythm was too slow, and I was anxious, so I fast forwarded. Maybe I didn't understand the essence of others, but I definitely don't plan to watch it...

In fact, the story and characters are all good, but it's just too shallow. The duration of 105 minutes is really too short, and it ends without saying anything. Also, there should be no horror category in the...

    Movie plot

Sam Cahill ( Tobey Maguire ), a US military officer in his thirties , and his brother Tommy Cahill ( Jacob Benjamin Gyllenhaal ) are completely people of two worlds. Sam is a perfect man in every way. Sam has a firm belief. He values country and honor very seriously. His family also takes care of him. His wife Grace ( Nataalie Hershlag ) has been in high school since she was in high school. With Sam's childhood sweethearts, they also...

    Evaluation action

The relationship between the characters in the film design is very far-fetched, and the drama conflicts are also more artificial, so it looks more like a stage play without the texture of a movie. ("Los Angeles Times" review)
The film's story has a strong drama, it is a rare love tragedy, but the film's narrative method is too old-fashioned, and gradually reduced to a painless melodrama. (Comment by The Globe and Mail)
    The performances...
