      The screenwriter is a master

Thanks to the increasing abundance of documentary resources on the Internet, it is now almost insulated from commercial films. "Beowulf" is almost an extinct commercial film that makes me want to watch it when I first watch it, and then I want to write a film review after watching it.

The special effects of the film are roughly on the same level as the title animation of Civilization 5. The reason why I recommend it is all the credit of the screenwriter. Although Beowulf's original...

      am i an antique

Forgive my old-fashioned thinking, for me, the most important thing about a movie is always the plot, the characters and the emotion. So I can't stand such a simple plot without any depth of characters. Some people say that this is a fable, but fables can also be told better. The so-called power, desire, women's struggles, etc., are too superficial. There are so many good actors in it, but the faces that have been repaired by the computer are stiff, and the eyes are dull and wasteful.
      Stop...

[Beowulf - The Curse of the North Sea].Beowulf.DC.2007, in the process of watching it, I thought, alas~ another bad movie. But to be fair, every film is rational, and there is always a thinking that the director wants to expound. Let's talk about the background of the movie first. I have to say that the director of this movie has a masterpiece (Forrest Gump) which was the best film at the Oscars in 1994. Since it is a famous shot, I should think more about it for Forrest Gump. I casually looked...

      A true hero's self-redemption-----"Beowulf"

Before watching Beowulf, I knew very little about the film. I didn't know anything about the director or the plot, and even when I started watching it, I suddenly realized that it was in the form of an animation. But after ten minutes of animation, I suddenly realized that "animation" is just a form. This movie is by no means as simple as an ordinary animation. The portrayal of the character's psychology in the film is definitely not something that ordinary animation directors can handle. After...

It turns out that Sister Julie's water photo is this drama! Not bad, but it would be nice to change to a real person. . . The ending is a mystery, suspense ~ I don't know much about religious stories, I just watch...

08.7.18 I knew for a long time that the box office was a fiasco, and thought it was not that good, but I thought it was a very good movie after watching it, at least, it was very good-looking. I haven't read Beowulf yet, I'll have to watch it when I have time to compare. Beowulf's motion capture object was someone, and I simply looked at his photo on imdb and thought that he must have lost weight at the time. It started to feel a lot like sean bean. His voice is awesome. Angelina is...

It's no exaggeration to say that the first 10 minutes really gave me the misconception that the cast of this movie were real people, especially when Angelina Jolie came out naked, and that misconception haunted me again. That's the single most shocking thing about this all-CG...

    Evaluation action

"Beowulf" tells a very good story, the script can not help but recall the human weakness and secret history behind the legend ("Guardian" review) , is a thoughtful bloody adventure film ("Times" review) . The film replaces those who lack depth in the original epic with more humane and more subtle characters (reviewed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune) . Although it may make English literature professors disapproving, the audience will...
