      Face or life?

The biggest difference between Andy and Wufei is actually only in their own cognition.
Andy understands that there is no tomorrow in his industry after today, so he never promises women, even if he loves deeply, he can't make any guarantee and response. Because he understands the responsibilities of being a man. Even because Wu Fei recognized him as a boss, he always cleaned up the mess for him. I firmly believe that if Andy decides to be responsible to a woman, he will definitely give up...

      as tears go by

Wong Kar-wai's debut novel, but who would believe it? ?
Wong Kar-wai can actually make such a film. The level of the debut novel can't be considered high, but the skills are very skilled, the connection is appropriate, and the character creation is quite satisfactory... What else?

      Only surprise, no surprise.

In 1988, Andy Lau was very handsome, with sharp edges and corners when he was young; Maggie Cheung, young and astringent; look at Jacky Cheung, the sideline of the...

I know it's gone forever, but I won't look back

It was the first time I watched Wong Kar Wai's movie. The young Andy Maggie Cheung performed a young love, but the clichéd plot was particularly beautiful.
A'e clearly knew that Andy might never return, but she could only watch him leave silently, crying quietly. Andy knew that this was going to be a disaster, but she still didn't look back, suddenly feeling that both of them were So stupid, so stupid, but it seems to be the inevitable result. A'e can't keep it, and Andy won't stay. He...

Mong Kok Carmen: Love is enough

      (Written on 2009-06-19)

People are floating in the rivers and lakes, who can not be hit by a knife? It is a familiar saying that spreads in the ears of the world. The first is the scar left on the body after being cut, and the second is the heart injury that cannot be healed after being injured. With a nostalgic mood, I revisited Wong Kar Wai's old work "Carmen Mong Kok". Although the time has changed, the mood after reading it is still so sad and heavy.

      In the 1980s and...

There is no smell in the air when I leave you

Some movies are meant to be funny, some movies are meant to stimulate the stupid human instinct.
So we will be nostalgic, and there will be dross that settles down, but there will be no exaggeration.

There is the shadow of Mong Kok Carmen in the spring breeze, like a ghost shuttle.
A cup, or a lamp, does it make a difference?

Everyone lives to find that cup, you desire it, I desire it, he desires it.
You can't get it if you find it.

      I can't be a...

Wong Kar Wai's debut, so the style has not yet been finalized, there are no unforgettable lines, and the main artificial emotional scene. In the 1980s, John Woo's brotherhood supported the entire Hong Kong film force, and the King of Sunglasses also followed the trend. The script was not bad, but this story was too suitable for John Woo. Fortunately, Sunglasses immediately finalized its own film style with a film [A Fei Zhengzhuan], and established its own status since then, and this film is...

[Broadway Hong Kong Film Festival] Obviously, Wong Kar-wai, who was the director for the first time, has not fully controlled his style. Maggie Cheung's part is very smart, while Andy Lau's part of Jacky Cheung is very cliché. Such a strong style contrast jump, there is still a gap compared to "The Last Victory" of the same clan and the same origin, which is really not a small pity. The hidden cups and the flashed kisses are like the light of spring. Jacky Cheung and Wan Ziliang went too crazy....

Shooting violent scenes with the effect of frame-drawing and slow-motion smear, the look and feel is amazing, out of the way of thinking that is different from Woo Yusen's slow-play violence aesthetics. There are roughly three places used: Andy Lau's revenge at the door, the one-minute long kiss between Andy Lau and Maggie Cheung in the phone booth, and the murder by Jacky Cheung police station - all of which are the most intense moments of emotional development. The story line actually broke...

    Movie plot

Ah Hua and Ah You are two gangsters in Mong Kok, and they are brothers and sisters. Ah Hua has been involved in the underworld earlier and is tired of the fighting at River's Lake , but Ah You has always dreamed of being a "leader" one day. The top spot, but Ah Hua has been protecting Ah You everywhere, so that Ah You has no chance to perform. One day, Ah Wah's cousin Ah Yu came here from Lantau Island for medical treatment and...

    Evaluation action

The gangster-themed "As Tears Go by" doesn't have a one-to-ten lone hero, nor a terrifying gang fight scene, but just two helpless young people in reality with their heads broken and desperate. The connotation that the film hopes to express is no longer the traditional meaning of River's lake. The film's creative concept, which is different from the mainstream trend, shows Wong Kar-wai's unconventional personality. The director did not...

    • Wah: People like us don't have tomorrows

    • Wah: I did a lot of things for our godfather too. By the age of 14, I was already getting paid to kill. I've got more guts than most guys, right? But look at me now. I'm just an ordinary guy!

Fly: At least you were a hotshot for a while! But what about me? What about me? Everyone looks down on me. Does that make you happy? People think I'm nothing, like some stray dog just following you around! Did you know that? I'd rather be a hero for one day than go on being a fly all my life!

    • Wah: I just wanted to say...I found that glass.
