The last sentence must be recorded
Fanned by Al Gore, the last words are to be excerpted: This movement to solve the climate crisis is in the tradition of every great moral movement that has advanced the cause of humankind. And every single one of them has met with resistance to the point where many of the advocates felt despair and wondered, “How long is this gonna take?” Martin Luther King famously answered a question during some of the bleakest hours of the Civil Right Movements, when someone asked, “How long is this gonna...

Watched the sequel to Inconvenient Truth
I think Al Gore might have exaggerated his importance in bringing change, especially in the Paris Agreement, but I definitely feel him when Trump said the US will be withdrawing from the Agreement. (Though now Trump is throwing out crumbs and things are uncertain again. )
I don't get climate deniers and why it is political when both sides should want a habitable Earth. I always find it odd to say we're saving the Earth, because Earth will still be here and another species might...

Donald Trump is easily the worst American president of all time
To be honest, Donald Trump does not deserve to be an American, let alone the leader of the Americans.
In the film, all the messages are positive until the appearance of Donald Trump. Even "stubborn" India change their idea and sign the Paris treaty, with the help from Al Gore and SolarCity. Trump's withdrawal from the Paris treaty is not only a challenge to the conscience of the American people, but also a severe damage to the development of the human beings.
Some people...

Trump may have changed the ending of the film, but not the facts and meaning of the film
#為資情2##An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power# (A-) If you are still a little concerned about the future of the earth, you will not miss this one. But in addition to providing more factual evidence than the first film, the main role of this film is to fight against Trump and shortsighted people like Trump. It's scary and sad, some scenes are terrifying, and many are horrifying. Maybe not for summer, but it's the most important movie of the year.
The documentary that has been...

Put aside your position and talk about your feelings
The style is very different from the first one, which was mainly about the urgency of climate change in terms of reality, and this one is mainly about the political efforts to make it happen. As far as the viewing experience is concerned, I still admire Mr. Gore quite a bit. He has been frustrated and worked hard. It used to feel like a political show, but now it feels like a career he is fighting for. But I am a pessimist here. I feel that climate change has passed the...

Although I personally hope that human beings will become extinct tomorrow, out of the only remaining morality, I still insist on low-carbon environmental protection every day. A Habitable Earth for...

It should be called "The Inconvenient Gore", because it is completely Gore's personal biography! Of course, this strategy of selecting materials is also reasonable. 1 has basically finished talking about the scientific evidence, so 2 will focus on the political wrangling behind global warming. You can say that Gore has gone too far in environmental protection, but this altruistic sense of social responsibility should be respected even if it cannot be understood! #Love the earth, hate Trump#...
Al Gore: [because of sea level rise] The Maldives have an enormous amount at risk. Kiribati has already purchased land to move its entire population.
Mr. Narendra Modi (PM of India): [at COP21] Democratic India must grow rapidly to meet the aspirations of 1.25 billion people 300 million of whom are without access to energy. Energy is a basic human need. There should be no place for unilateral steps that become economic barriers for others. So, we still need conventional energy, fossil fuel. And anything else will be morally wrong.
Al Gore: Ten years ago, when the movie An Inconvenient Truth came out, the single most criticised scene in that movie was an animated scene showing that the combination of sea level rise and storm surge would put the ocean water into the 9/11 memorial site, which was then under construction.
