I can't write a short review again. Five points are dedicated to great people.
Well, I'm just so long-winded, so it's really not enough to comment on Shenma. It's a
pure British film. It's retro, exquisite, point-to-point and depressing, but it still has a shocking power. When watching such a movie, you will be surprised that you don't know anything about these great characters and stories. Fortunately, there are always people who are willing to discover them.
Because of this film, I know the origin of the well-known tune, the difficult and exciting...

It's not a movie review, it's a short review.
I learned about the Amazing Grace by watching the Conan theatrical version, the trembling movement. It sounds familiar, and I must have used it in many places. Then I found this movie.
Obviously it is an orthodox theme, biography, serious and boring, but I watched it with relish, and the characters in the play were nervous. Good things always come together, and a British rigorous film is found by anime.
Get a lot of good actors.
I hope that what I have learned can be made into my...

It deduces the process of a congressman opposing the slave trade and liberating black slaves during the British colonial period. This movie is a good interpretation of his life, his work, his beliefs, his position.
The protagonist's failures in parliament again and again, and his body is dragged down again and again, this process affects the hearts of the audience. Especially as a man of faith, because the protagonist's work stems from his position, his position stems from his life, and...

I once was blind, but now I see,
I was once blind, but now I see. I
have to say that I was moved by such deep perseverance and pursuit.
From the beginning, he was alone in the House of Commons,
his voice gradually raised ,
but he was still swayed by many duties and scolding. Submerged
but in the end
everyone looked at
him and applauded him with
tears in their eyes.
He is lucky to
have Pete by his side, a wife who believes in his beliefs, and friends.
Although he once...

Great thoughts and perfect lines, the feelings between the characters and the feelings for the world are very moving. America has Lincoln, England has William. He wants the world to be better so he works hard to make the world a better place. I love every character in the show, including William's footman. Of course, BC is still invincible...

Airplane check-in. The 15-year mark wanted to watch it and ended up watching it on the plane. A wife who supports your faith, a like-minded partner, nothing is more important than when you are swimming upstream. Ah yes, it's still the foundation, and the character of Cum Fu is shining...

Been watching for a few days. The whole film is not very bright, so 3 points ("OK") is enough. But the history behind the story (such as the history of abolition in Britain, France, and even the whole of Europe) and the real characters (the protagonist William Wilberforce and William Pitt, the youngest prime minister in British history (24 years old) played by Cumford) are very interesting. Interesting and worth knowing...
William Wilberforce: You wake me up to give me medicine to help me sleep?
Lord Charles Fox: When people speak of great men, they think of men like Napoleon - men of violence. Rarely do they think of peaceful men. But contrast the reception they will receive when they return home from their battles. Napoleon will arrive in pomp and in power, a man who's achieved the very summit of earthly ambition. And yet his dreams will be haunted by the oppressions of war. William Wilberforce, however, will return to his family, lay his head on his pillow and remember: the slave trade is no more.
[Wilberforce receives a standing ovation from the entire House and the Gallery]
Duke of Clarence: Noblesse oblige.
Lord Tarleton: What the bloody hell does that mean?
Duke of Clarence: It means: my nobility obliges me to recognize the virtue of an exceptional commoner
