After waiting for a long time, I finally waited for the cooked meat. This is another film of Hirokazu Koreeda that is going to win the grand prize. Flag will be respected first.
When is the right time to see Hirokazu Koreeda? A relaxed Friday night after all the tedious work, a lazy weekend afternoon where you don't care where you go and who you see, a alone time without anyone disturbing you.
Let's put it this way, if the gimmicky Hollywood popcorn movie requires your...

The stills of "Deeper Than the Sea" is the trailer for Hirokazu Kore-eda's latest work "Deeper than the Sea". The middle-aged waste wood uncle played by Hiro Abe, and the mother who warmly guards the waste wood son played by Shu Xilin, made people cry with sympathy. In 2015, director Hirokazu Kore-eda won numerous awards for "Haijie Diary", and he joined hands with his old partners Hiro Abe and Shirin Koji. "Deeper than the Sea" centers on a middle-aged uncle who can't pursue his dreams, his...

The view is deeper than the sea
"Since she's divorced, she has the right to date anyone. Why should she be jealous in the future? You have to ask what the person sitting here said. I'm not jealous, right? That should be a sense of responsibility. It's not just a simple nostalgia. You know "nostalgia" What do you mean... A man only knows how to love when he has to lose it. I guess he is still crying and sleeping with the photo of his ex-wife." "Dad, what does he want, what do you mean, what does he want?" I...

You can't get it, what's your life
"Always chasing after something that has been lost, or something beyond your reach. It's always like this, how about enjoying life. If you don't open-minded, you'll never get true happiness."
What impresses me most about "Deeper Than the Sea" is that it successfully portrays people's gradually easing attitude towards their unsatisfactory life: they are farther and farther from what they want to be, but they are no longer so resentful; I am no longer so...

I really liked after watching "Never Stop". I thought death was such a sad thing, but it can be shown in such a gentle lens. When I arrived in "Deeper than the Sea", I found that the current situation is not good, but I have to learn to accept and say goodbye to myself gently and tenaciously, and live a good life with faith in myself.
It is Hirokazu-eda's films that always use natural and delicate brushstrokes to depict real life, bringing people simple thinking and a...

Moments with snuggling loved ones are like a storm. The strong winds pass by and everyone warms up to each other. We will not love deeper than the sea, but it has become the fetters that we care about for a lifetime. "Men mature when they accept the past of being someone else", it is Hirokazu Kore-eda who is thinking about existence and leaving in the "post-travel era". The family relationship that was worn down by contradictions was actually a time when we hid under the slide and played. We...

We always talk about what kind of people we want to be when we grow up, and what kind of people we don’t want to be when we grow up. But even so, we have a value to exist and a reason to live. Just as potted plants may not bloom and bear fruit, buying a lottery ticket may not necessarily win the lottery. That's how life is, a lot of things don't make...

Cinema Museum, Art Cinema. It’s still just the beginning of the movie. The most appropriate part of Uncle Kuan and his mother eating ice cream together: shaving off the ice on the upper layer that is stained with the smell of the refrigerator, and then smashing, poking, slicing, and digging with a spoon, with an unpleasant noise, squeeze out a little sweet. The flavored ice slag is sent to the mouth. --...
Shinoda Yoshiko: I wonder why it is that men can't love the present. Either they just keep chasing whatever it is they've lost... or they keep dreaming beyond their reach.
Shinoda Ryôta: The lottery isn't gambling.
Shiraishi Kyôko: Of course it is.
Shinoda Ryôta: No, it is not.
Shiraishi Kyôko: What is it, then?
Shinoda Ryôta: It's a dream. A dream you buy for 300 Yen.
Shinoda Ryôta: I'm not... who I want to be yet. But, you know, it doesnt matter whether I've become what I wanted. What matters is to live my life trying to become what I want to be.
