      body turned into ghost pain
      shuttle stop
      was incompatible

      unfamiliar city
      in another language
      staggered dark alleys

      Far better than expected

I watched this movie for my idol, but it was not as good as I thought. The publicity of the current movie is really great, the film festival award-winning works, and the "sixth sense of life and death than the beautiful". After watching it, I feel nothing.
The movie looks like a home video tape shot with a handheld camera, but I have seen many similar movies, so this is not enough. After thinking and going to the movie, what I want to show should be the impact of the sudden death of a...

      "Genoa", the salvation of misplacement

Watching "Genoa" tells the story of how the father and daughter who lost their loved ones in a car accident started a new life in a strange place.

The topic of healing in a different place is not new. I always prefer this kind of movies, because looking at a city that is equally strange to the audience with strange eyes, it is easy to produce a certain kind of empathy. The film "Genoa" not only did this, but also cleverly superimposed physical space and emotional space...

      Taste of life

Personal preference, let’s talk about the male protagonist first.

Colin firth has inevitably started playing the role of daddy since 2000. Compared to the darcy in arrogance and prejudice, the former Yushu Linfeng is gradually being smoothed by time, and the wrinkles and the obviously loose skin that creep up to the corners of the eyes are all conveying: the fans are intentional, but they are helpless and ruthless.

But what Colin is best at is the role of infatuated single...

After reading it and thinking about it, it seems to understand a bit

This movie was only watched for Colin Firth. I didn’t read the introduction. I thought it was my father looking for the second spring after losing his wife. I saw later that it was about father-daughter love and the experience of a family coming out of the pain of losing a loved one.
There are some plots in the film that are rather gloomy, such as the plot of the shuttle in the ancient alleys, which seems a bit obscure. When I watch it, I feel creepy (mainly because I am timid), and I am...

20130515 Although I really like watching Colin play a loving father, and every time I hug my little daughter, I feel abusive. I laughed when I saw that IMDB classified it as horror and suspense. The little girl's scenes are super suspenseful, okay? I thought it would be very warm. The Italian dark alley is scary.

Archives 2013.3.14.7pm The camera control is in place, and the changes in camera movement and sound are highly matched with psychology/emotions. Family reconciliation after the loss of a mother is told in two...

Nothing to mention about the plot! It's all about the scenery and beauty. The eldest daughter has a bit of Hepburn's...

3.5 This is a feeling film. The camera travels through a dark alley where strangers are lurking. It is also the feeling that the film wants to express: the insecure and ever-present loss, everything is so uncertain , as if there is malice attacking the corner at any time, but after all, it continues to move forward. . Life....

    Movie plot

After the sudden death of his beloved wife, Joe ( Colin Firth ) moved to Italy with his two daughters, hoping to put aside his past pains and start a new life in the exotic Genoa. However, it is not as easy as imagined to reset everything to zero and start again. The eldest daughter Kelly ( Willa Holland ) , because she is adolescent and rebellious, and is full of estrangement with Joe, she dresses up sexy all day to flirt with the...

    Evaluation action

The film conveys its strongest theme through insinuation, and Michael Winterbottom adjusts its ever-changing emotions through precisely calibrated DV processing. Because the loose, intermittent narrative occasionally makes the audience unbearable, and Kylie’s ubiquitous iPod also allows pop music to be played periodically, which also shows the sad girl’s tendency to escape reality. Although there are some contemporary elements in the...

    Movie quotes

    • Barbara: Mary, you've never been to Italy before, have you?

      Mary: No.

      Barbara: Do you like pasta?

      Mary: Yeah.

Barbara: Do you like ice-cream? Then you'll be fine.

    • Joe: So why are there so many English flags?

Barbara: They're not English. They're the flags of St George. St George is the patron saint of Genoa, and England actually just borrowed him.

    • Barbara: You're all very brave.

Joe: Yeah, well, we don't have much choice.
